The Wyatt Sicks Are No More as Dexter Lumis and Erick Rowan Released by WWE

WWE has continued its wave of roster cuts, with Dexter Lumis and Erick Rowan now confirmed as released. Their departures mark the end of The Wyatt Sicks faction, as all members have now exited the company.

Following his release, Lumis reacted on social media by posting a photo from his storyline wedding with Indi Hartwell, revisiting one of his most notable moments in WWE.

Hartwell also responded to the news. Instead of issuing a written message, she shared a GIF tied to their time together in NXT and posted a full YouTube playlist highlighting their “InDex” storyline. The callback referenced one of the most memorable relationships featured on WWE NXT in recent years.

Lumis last competed on the April 17 episode of WWE SmackDown, teaming with Rowan, Bo Dallas (Uncle Howdy), and Joe Gacy in a street fight against the MFTs.

Lumis originally signed with WWE in 2019 and was released in April 2022. He returned later that year in August and eventually became part of The Wyatt Sicks when the group was introduced in 2024. During his run, he captured the WWE Tag Team Championship alongside Joe Gacy.

Rowan also last wrestled on the same April 17 SmackDown episode, teaming with Lumis, Dallas, and Gacy. He first signed with WWE in 2011 and was released in April 2020 before returning in 2024 as part of the Wyatt Sicks.

During his WWE career, Rowan held multiple titles, including two WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships and an NXT Tag Team Championship.

With Lumis and Rowan now gone, the Wyatt Sicks faction has officially been dismantled as part of WWE’s ongoing post-WrestleMania roster changes.
