WWE is reportedly parting ways with Aleister Black and Zelina Vega, as both are believed to have exited the company following the latest wave of roster changes, according to Fightful.
Black last wrestled on the April 17 episode of WWE SmackDown, where he competed in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. He had been a consistent presence on television throughout 2026, starting the year in a feud with Damian Priest before moving into a program with Randy Orton. In recent weeks, he had also been featured in segments and matches involving Sami Zayn and Matt Cardona, showing that he remained active in ongoing storylines prior to his reported departure.
Black originally signed with WWE in 2016 and quickly established himself in NXT, where he captured the NXT Championship. His first run with the company ended in June 2021 when he was released, leading to a move to All Elite Wrestling. After nearly four years with AEW, he exited the promotion in February 2025 and later returned to WWE following WrestleMania 41, beginning what would become his second stint with the company.
Vega’s second WWE run also began in 2021 and lasted five consecutive years. During that time, she balanced roles as both an in-ring competitor and a manager. She was most recently featured on SmackDown as part of an on-screen pairing with Black, aligning their real-life relationship with WWE programming.
Throughout her return, Vega built a strong resume. She won the Queen of the Ring tournament and played key roles in factions such as Legado Del Fantasma and the L.W.O. (Latino World Order). She also made history as the second WWE Women’s United States Champion, adding a notable singles accomplishment to her run.
Her shift back into a managerial role alongside Black in recent months indicated a change in creative direction, but both talents continued to be featured regularly before these reports surfaced.
At this stage, WWE has not officially confirmed the departures. However, both names are widely believed to be part of the ongoing post-WrestleMania roster adjustments, which have already seen multiple talents exit the company in a short period.
