Dante Chen has confirmed that he is no longer with WWE, becoming the latest name to join the growing list of recent releases.
Chen announced the news on social media, sharing a message reflecting on his time with the company and thanking those who supported him throughout his run.
“Goodbye and thank you, WWE. 5 years, 147 matches. The list of names of people I want to thank is endless. I am proud to be the first Singaporean-born WWE Superstar, and I hope that inspires everyone that anything can be achieved. Stay tuned. Chen. Now. Forever. Together.”
Chen’s departure comes as part of WWE’s ongoing post-WrestleMania roster changes, which have seen multiple talents exit the company in recent days.
He last competed on the March 18 episode of WWE EVOLVE, marking his final in-ring appearance under the WWE banner. Chen originally signed with WWE in 2021 and spent his entire tenure developing across multiple brands.
During his time with the company, Chen worked primarily on WWE NXT, as well as NXT Level Up and EVOLVE. While he did not move to the main roster, he remained a consistent presence within WWE’s developmental system.
Chen also gained additional experience through appearances with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling as part of the working relationship between WWE and TNA. Those appearances helped expand his exposure outside of WWE programming.
His statement highlighted both pride in his accomplishments and appreciation for the opportunity, particularly noting his role as the first Singaporean-born WWE Superstar.
With his WWE chapter now complete, attention turns to what comes next for Chen as he continues his professional wrestling career.
