Jamie Hayter Sidelined With Injury Following AEW All Out

Jamie Hayter remains out of action following a brutal Chicago Street Fight at All Out.

AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champion Jamie Hayter is currently on the sidelines recovering from an injury sustained during last month’s pay-per-view.

Speaking on social media following the special three-hour broadcast of AEW Dynamite & Collision on October 14, AEW President Tony Khan provided an update on Hayter’s status, revealing that she is dealing with the lingering effects of a brutal encounter.

Tony Khan Confirms Injury Status

According to Khan, Hayter’s absence stems from the punishing Chicago Street Fight at AEW All Out, where she and partner Alex Windsor successfully defended their titles against The Divine Dominion (Lena Kross and Megan Bayne).

While Khan categorized the issue as a “major injury,” he offered an optimistic outlook regarding her recovery timeline:

  • “I was hoping The Brawling Birds would be able to defend the Tag Team Championship, but Jamie Hayter, from that Chicago Street Fight, is still out injured,” Khan said. “Hopefully Jamie Hayter will be back in a couple of weeks. But that was a major injury.”

Because of the injury, a planned title defense for AEW WrestleDream against top contenders Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron has been put on hold.

Despite being unable to clear physical contact, Hayter appeared on television during the October 14 broadcast in a backstage segment alongside fellow United Empire members Alex Windsor, Will Ospreay, Andrade El Idolo, and “Speedball” Mike Bailey.

AEW has not stripped The Brawling Birds of the championships, and management is hopeful for a quick return once medical clearance is finalized.
