Lola Vice Recalls Scary Ladder Fall During WWE Money in the Bank 2026

High-risk ladder matches carry inherent physical dangers, and WWE star Lola Vice recently reflected on a chaotic sequence during the 2026 Women’s Ladder Match at Money in the Bank.

The dangerous exchange occurred while Vice and WWE Women’s United States Champion Jacy Jayne were battling on the same side of a ladder. Vice applied a chokehold to incapacitate Jayne, intending to drop both of them onto a bridge ladder wedged between the middle rope and the main structure. However, the secondary ladder shifted upon impact, sending both competitors tumbling out of the ring and onto the arena floor.

Lola Vice Opens Up About the High-Risk Fall

During an interview on WWE Ahora, Vice discussed how the sequence quickly broke down into an unscripted spill.

  • Reflecting on the failure of the bridge setup, Vice noted, “I had Jacy (Jayne) in a choke and when I put her to sleep, she fell back and I fell with her. I thought that was the end of it, but suddenly the ladder went backwards, and literally, it got us out of the ring.”
  • Vice acknowledged that the unexpected fall eliminated her chances of winning, sharing, “Because of that, I didn’t win Money in the Bank. It hurt a lot and was very scary, but looking back, thank God it came out like this because it could have been very ugly.”
  • Emphasizing the physical toll of the match structure, she added, “I think an injury in a Ladder match would have been rough. They are not for everyone, but thank God I’m strong and I was able to do it.”

Despite the tumble to the outside, both performers avoided serious injury, allowing the match to continue. Tiffany Stratton ultimately outlasted the field to retrieve the contract, securing a guaranteed future championship match at a time and place of her choosing.
