OTM didn’t just wreck the main event on the August 24 episode of WWE RAW—their first night on the main roster also went over exceptionally well behind the scenes.
According to a report from False Finish, internal reaction to Bronco Nima and Lucien Price’s RAW debut alongside Royce Keys was “very positive”. Management’s strong initial response marks an impressive early sign for the duo after WWE opted to skip subtle introduction vignettes and throw them directly into the main-event spotlight.
High-Stakes Ambush Establishes New Threat
WWE handed Nima and Price a major showcase for their debut, inserting them into a high-profile angle featuring The Usos, Solo Sikoa, and LA Knight.
After Keys blindsided the competitors by sending Jey Uso and Sikoa crashing through a ringside table, Nima and Price hit the ring to dismantle the rest of the field. Nima delivered relentless strikes to Knight while Price planted Jimmy Uso, allowing Keys to follow up with a devastating spinebuster. The broadcast concluded with Keys and OTM standing tall over the laid-out bodies of RAW’s top stars.
Sudden Creative Pivot Delivers Immediate Results
The positive backstage reception is particularly notable given how rapidly OTM’s call-up came together.
WWE had only recently been teasing friction and an impending split between Nima and Price, while Nima was also briefly involved with Los Perros del Mal in AAA. Creative ultimately dropped those plans, kept the tag team intact, and fast-tracked them to the main roster to align with Keys.
Trusted with closing out WWE’s flagship show alongside top-tier talent, Nima and Price capitalized on the opportunity, leaving officials inside the company thrilled with how the segment was executed.
