On August 20, Baker offered the identical “Same” response to a fan who stated they missed seeing her on screen. Days prior, when asked about her current whereabouts during her prolonged absence, Baker bluntly replied, “At the beach.”

While initial internet rumors attempted to link Baker’s prolonged absence to backstage tension, Khan firmly dismissed those narratives in February, emphasizing that Baker remains “very highly regarded and respected here in AEW.”
