The finals of the Roman Reigns World Heavyweight Championship Contender Tournament are set, with Penta squaring off against his real-life brother Rey Fenix.
Penta secured his spot in the finals by overcoming La Parka, while Fenix advanced with a victory over Dragon Lee. The winner of this brother-versus-brother clash will officially earn a World Heavyweight Championship match against Roman Reigns on September 14 when RAW broadcasts live from Mexico City.
Women’s Intercontinental Title Rematch and Division Friction
The Women’s Intercontinental Championship will be on the line next week as Sol Ruca gets her official rematch against reigning champion Raquel Rodriguez.
Tensions in the division spilled over backstage after the announcement when former champion Lyra Valkyria approached Ruca, suggesting she step aside and hand over the championship opportunity so Valkyria could reclaim the title herself. Ruca quickly shut down the request, leaving Valkyria frustrated heading into the championship bout.
Roman Reigns Returns Amid Bloodline and OTM Chaos
Roman Reigns makes his return to RAW next week following a tumultuous sequence of events surrounding The Bloodline.
The family dynamic unraveled after Solo Sikoa flatly rejected rejoining the group, striking Reigns with a Samoan Spike. The situation deteriorated further in the main event when Royce Keys returned to ambush The Usos, Solo Sikoa, and LA Knight, revealing an alliance with NXT call-ups Bronco Nima and Lucien Price of OTM.
