Former WWE and AEW star Malakai Black made his return to in-ring competition at his Dark Arts Gym, defeating student J Villa in a special teacher-versus-student matchup.
The contest marked Black’s first match back in the ring since his release from WWE in April, where he performed under the ring name Aleister Black. As seen below, Black debuted a new look during the broadcast—featuring a completely shaved head—which he first teased in a vignette released shortly after becoming a free agent.
Upcoming Independent Dates Confirmed
Following his return at Dark Arts, Black is set to step back onto the broader independent circuit next month.
PROGRESS Wrestling announced that Black will participate in their UK tour in early September, with scheduled appearances in Leeds and Manchester alongside his partner Xelina (Zelina Vega).
