There was early communication between Malakai Black and Major League Wrestling a few months back. According to Fightful Select, the contact happened a couple of weeks after Black’s WWE release, but the discussions didn’t develop into anything substantial.
Fightful noted that the talks didn’t move forward, but nothing negative came out of them either. With Black now officially a free agent, the outlet added that there has been no renewed communication between the two sides.
As for his status with AEW, Fightful stated that they have not heard anything regarding a possible return.
