TNA delivered an action-packed episode of iMPACT on October 29, highlighted by major title match confirmations for the upcoming Destination X, backstage tensions, and high-stakes drama within the Knockouts division.
During a backstage segment, Daria Rae was seen on her phone before being interrupted by ‘The Mecca’ Brian Johnson. Rae noted that Johnson has spent a year trying to secure a full-time contract with the promotion. Johnson countered by revealing he has officially landed a position, having been appointed by the Board of Directors to keep a close watch on Rae following her suspension for putting her hands on Indi Hartwell. Johnson stated he is under strict orders to report any future infractions directly to the board, prompting a frustrated Rae to walk off and handle the matter herself.
Johnson brings 19 years of professional experience to the locker room, including a tenure in Ring of Honor from 2017 to 2021 prior to Tony Khan’s acquisition, alongside five appearances on TNA Xplosion since 2025.
Mr. Elegance Quits The Elegance Brand During Title Bout
The broadcast opened with M by Elegance defending the Knockouts Television Championship against Jada Stone.
The match quickly turned chaotic when M placed Mr. Elegance directly in the path of Stone’s incoming moonsault, much to his outrage. Although Heather by Elegance attempted to distract the official to allow outside interference, Mr. Elegance reached his breaking point and shouted directly at M that he was quitting the Elegance brand on the spot. M ultimately recovered to secure the victory and retain her title.
Following the broadcast, the fallout spilled onto social media. M posted on X: “quits?!!!! @AJZiggy1818 well you can’t quit!! cause i deem you UNelegant!!! -The New Leader of the Elegance Brand and 1st Ever @ThisIsTNA KO’s TV Champion.” Heather by Elegance also chimed in on the development, writing: “Guys it’s getting lonely over here #TNAiMPACT #mrelegancejustfreakingquit.” Mr. Elegance had originally aligned with the group at the dawn of TNA’s AMC era in January 2026.
Shayna Baszler And Zoey Serrano Statement Sets Up Destination X Title Match
The Knockouts division took center stage later in the night when Knockouts World Tag Team Champions Shayna Baszler and Zoey Serrano blindsided the ringside area.
Serrano neutralized a security guard while Baszler grabbed a headset from the commentary desk. Baszler declared that authority figure Daria Rae hired her specifically to strip the Knockouts World Championship away from Indi Hartwell, confirming that the high-stakes collision will take place at Destination X.
The official confirmation rounds out a massive card for the November 15 special event. The updated lineup for Destination X features:
