AEW Dynamite Ratings Drop to 10-Week Low Ahead of All In 2026

All Elite Wrestling encountered a notable setback on the road to All In 2026, as television ratings for the August 19 episode of AEW Dynamite dropped to their lowest point in ten weeks.

The broadcast averaged 587,000 viewers, marking an 11% decline from the 658,000 viewers drawn the previous week. In the key 18–49 demographic, the episode scored a 0.10 rating, representing the lowest demo number for the flagship show since late June. Both figures fell substantially below the promotion’s recent ten-week averages heading into the broadcast.

Extended Overrun and Key Segment Dynamics

A significant factor contributing to the overall decline was the show’s 34-minute overrun. The standard two-hour broadcast window averaged 617,000 viewers and a 0.11 demo rating, but viewership dipped noticeably as the broadcast stretched past the 10 p.m. Eastern hour.

The episode relied heavily on marquee star power, featuring both Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay in separate trios matches alongside a sit-down interview between the two rivals. Ospreay opened the broadcast in trios action, while the 10 p.m. hour kicked off with an angle involving Darby Allin and Kevin Knight. Omega’s trios match anchored the main event spot during the late overrun, but even the presence of former World Champions was not enough to prevent the overall audience numbers from sliding to multi-month lows.
