Chelsea Green didn’t hesitate when asked who she thinks is WWE’s biggest backstage “diva.” During an appearance on Inside the Ring, Green was asked which WWE stars take the longest to get ready before television tapings. After naming Cathy Kelly on the women’s side, she immediately turned her attention to Damian Priest — and she didn’t hold back.
Green joked that Priest has become a regular in hair and makeup, even though he’s not exactly the intended customer. She laughed that he spends so much time getting camera‑ready that he ends up taking over the chairs meant for the women’s roster, and she says she’s more than happy to call him out for it.
“Woman, I would say Cathy Kelly. She’s very nitpicky because she knows what she likes.”
When it came to the men, Green didn’t even pause.
“Man? Damian Priest. Let me tell you something. Damian’s up there in hair and makeup getting all glammed when the hair and makeup chair is supposed to be for the girls. And I tell him that to his face. Like, why are you getting a blowout, bro? Please save some for the rest of us.”
Green continued teasing Priest, summing up his backstage reputation in three words.
“So I’m not surprised. Damian is giving diva.”
Her comments were clearly made in good fun, poking at one of her fellow WWE stars rather than taking a serious shot at him. Still, if there’s ever a shortage of chairs in hair and makeup before RAW or SmackDown, Priest might have some explaining to do — at least if Chelsea Green is nearby.
