AEW Dynamite Results – July 29, 2026 – Welcome to Wrestling Attitude’s live coverage results for AEW Dynamite on July 29, live from the Masonic Temple Theater in Detroit, Michigan.

Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, and Taz welcome viewers at home. Renee Paquette tries to catch Will Ospreay outside the Masonic Temple Theater, but the Death Riders block his path. Jon Moxley steps in front of him and stares him down. Daniel Garcia gets in Ospreay’s face, and Ospreay drops him with a shot as Moxley holds him back.

Moxley asks if Ospreay is sure he wants to do that. Ospreay says Moxley doesn’t get to pull the trigger for him. He hands Moxley his Death Riders patch and says he’s out.

Ospreay turns around and runs into Hangman Page. Page says he’s been in Ospreay’s shoes before, and Ospreay never let him feel bad when he went through it last year. Page tells him he’s there if he needs anything.

Ospreay says he can’t trust Kenny Omega, which means he can’t trust Page either. He says he wants to go at it alone. Page stops him before he leaves and gives him some encouragement, telling him he’s got challenging for the AEW World Championship at All In locked down.

Andrade El Idolo (c) vs. Nick Wayne vs. Jack Perry — AEW National Championship

The bell rings and Perry blasts Andrade with a superkick. He chops Wayne, but Wayne drops Perry with an open‑hand strike. Andrade fires back and hits the Three Amigos on Wayne, but Perry cuts him off after the first suplex. Wayne and Perry try a double suplex on Andrade, but Andrade reverses and suplexes both men at once.

Perry sends Wayne crashing to the floor. Andrade takes flight and wipes out Perry. Andrade spots a female fan and stops to take a shirtless photo with her. Wayne jumps off the barricade and hits a Sliced Break on Andrade. Perry throws Wayne back inside and covers him, but Wayne kicks out.

Andrade returns and hits the full Three Amigos on Perry. Wayne catches Andrade with a Spanish Fly.

Andrade yanks Wayne off the ropes and powerbombs him. He chops Perry as Perry sits on the top rope, but Perry hits a hurricanrana that sends Andrade crashing to the floor. Perry drags Andrade back inside and hits a Frog Splash to the spine. He follows with a suplex and covers Andrade, but Wayne breaks it up.

Andrade unloads chops on both Perry and Wayne. He levels them with a double clothesline and drills Perry with the Bull’s Horns. Andrade covers, but Perry kicks out. Andrade puts Perry on the top rope.

Perry flies through the middle rope to the floor, then leaps over the top rope to wipe out both Andrade and Wayne. Perry hits a moonsault on the outside and throws Wayne back in. He powerbombs Wayne and covers, but Wayne kicks out. Andrade clotheslines Perry out of the ring and climbs up top. Wayne gets his knees up, then hits a Phoenix Splash on Andrade. He covers, but Perry breaks the fall.

Wayne rolls up Andrade with his feet on the ropes, but Andrade kicks out. Andrade spins Wayne and hits The DM to score the win.

Winner: Andrade El Idolo

After the match, Tony Schiavone steps into the ring with Andrade and asks how he’s feeling. Andrade says he’s feeling tranquilo because he screwed MJF by taking his Dynamite Diamond Ring. He says he can fight anyone and promises he’ll be the best National Champion ever.

Schiavone asks him about next week’s match in Mexico to determine the first entrant in the Casino Gauntlet Match at All In. He asks Andrade if he would consider entering. Andrade looks at him and simply says, “How you know?”

The Brawling Birds Backstage

The Brawling Birds say Divine Dominion never stop talking. Both teams are undefeated, and the champions have avoided them for far too long. They issue a challenge to any of the Minions in Training — Athena, Billie Starkz, or Diamante — for Collision.

Alex Windsor says whenever they see Megan Bayne and Lena Kross, it’s time to fight.

The Don Callis Family Backstage

Renee Paquette stands with the Don Callis Family. Kyle Fletcher says he didn’t lose his International Title at Redemption, unlike certain other members of the group. He glances at Kevin Knight while saying it.

Callis says they took a few losses, but Mark Davis is angrier than he’s ever seen him and he can’t wait to see what Davis does next. Callis says Knight claimed he didn’t need The Family, and look what happened. Everyone learns their lessons.

Knight says he’ll start appreciating the small things. He brings up Mistico and warns Fletcher that Speedball could give him trouble at Grand Slam Mexico.

Fletcher says the International Title will never leave The Family. Kazuchika Okada walks in, agrees with him, says the belt will always stay with them, and then leaves.

The Don Callis Family vs. Brody King, Bandido & Speedball Mike Bailey

Kyle Fletcher and Brody King start things off. King knocks Fletcher down with a shoulder tackle, but Fletcher fires back with a forearm. Brian Cage tags in and unloads strikes in the corner. Jake Doyle tags in and he and Cage hit a double suplex on King.

Fletcher returns and charges, but King boots him. Bailey tags in, climbs up top, and drops an elbow on Fletcher’s arm while King holds it. Bandido tags in and stomps Fletcher’s arm off the ropes with Bailey helping him.

King, Bandido, and Bailey triple‑team Fletcher in the corner. King hits a clothesline. Bandido climbs the ropes, but Fletcher sees it coming. Bandido adjusts and hits a vertical suplex, then rains down punches in the corner. Bandido hits an enzuigiri from the apron, but Cage grabs him and powerbombs him into the ring post.

Back from the break, King hits a double cannonball on Cage and Doyle as they’re stacked in the corner. He drops Cage with a lariat and tags Bailey. Fletcher tags in and drills Bailey with a knee. He covers, but King and Bandido break it up.

Cage and Doyle wipe out King and Bandido. Bailey kicks Fletcher, hits his flipping double knees, then lands a roundhouse when Fletcher charges.

Bandido and Doyle tag in. Bandido hits a Gorilla Press on Doyle. He climbs up and hits a Frog Splash, but Doyle rolls through and bodyslams him. Doyle splashes him as chaos breaks out around the ring.

Bailey hits a springboard moonsault on Fletcher. Doyle drops Bandido with a right hand. Bailey tags in, climbs up, and hits his flipping knees to Doyle’s spine. He rolls Doyle up and gets the three count.

Winners: Brody King, Bandido & Speedball Mike Bailey

Renee Paquette Sits Down with Christian Cage, Adam Copeland & The Young Bucks

Renee Paquette says she’s excited to finally say it out loud — Copeland and Christian vs. The Young Bucks is happening at All In. The Bucks say they’ve been anxious just thinking about it. They’ve been planning the trip with their families, never believing this match would ever become real. They call it an honor and say Copeland and Christian changed tag team wrestling.

Copeland says The Bucks did the same. He says tag team wrestling was pushed aside for too long, but teams like them and FTR made sure it stayed alive. Christian says they didn’t come back for a retirement tour. They came back to prove they’re the best tag team of their generation and The Bucks’ generation. He also says he’s glad their wives will be at Wembley.

Matt says Copeland and Christian are on the second leg of their careers, while The Bucks are still on their first. When they win the titles, they’ll be the most decorated tag team in AEW history. He says they’ve been at rock bottom and clawed their way back. Copeland says he understands that feeling. He and Christian lost their careers for seventeen years and haven’t won a tag title in twenty‑five. He tells Matt not to play the comparison game.

Matt says they’re legends who have done it all, but nothing will stop The Bucks from winning those titles. He says this won’t be Kobe dropping sixty at the end of his career. He says Copeland and Christian will be lucky to get on the board at Wembley.

Christian says it sounds like The Bucks are trying to talk themselves into it. He says everything changes when the music fades and The Bucks stand across from their heroes. He says he’s not downplaying their career, but to be the greatest, they have to beat them in London.

Renee asks why this match means so much to Copeland and Christian. Copeland says that even after everything they’ve done, there’s still doubt. Matt says The Bucks always have a chip on their shoulder. They were always told they were too small and didn’t have the machine behind them. He says Copeland and Christian might be bigger, but The Bucks are The Bucks.

The sit‑down stays surprisingly calm. No insults. No brawl. Just two teams talking about what this match means.

Maya World (c) vs. Persephone — TBS Championship

The bell rings and they lock up. World drops Persephone with a spinning heel kick. Persephone rolls outside and stomps on World’s neck against the edge of the ring.

Back from the break, Persephone dives through the middle rope and wipes out World on the floor. She charges again, but World stops her with a sharp kick and hits a moonsault off the ropes.

Hikaru Shida slides her kendo stick into the ring. Persephone grabs it as Shida distracts both the referee and World. Kris Statlander appears and snatches the stick out of Persephone’s hands. World takes advantage, hits a Fallaway Slam, and bridges into a pin for the three count.

Winner: Maya World

After the match, Statlander raises World’s hand in the center of the ring.

Willow Nightingale’s AEW Women’s Title Celebration

Renee Paquette introduces the new AEW Women’s Champion. Pyro hits, streamers fall, and the crowd gives Willow Nightingale a huge standing ovation. Nightingale is in tears. She says everything still feels unreal. This is what people dream about, and she’s grateful fans stayed with her even when others doubted her. She says people used to call her too quirky, too chubby, too weird. They didn’t get her. But this past year, she made fans happy.

She says she became one half of the first Women’s Tag Team Champions. She beat Mercedes Mone for the TBS Title. She got hurt, and it pushed her into a dark place. Her mom pulled her out of it, telling her she could stay down or she could fight. Nightingale fought her way into the Casino Gauntlet. She fought through a toxic champion in Thekla. And she won the big one. She says she loves the love, but if life has kicked you around, don’t give up. Keep fighting. Sometimes the comeback is better than the dream.

Mercedes Mone’s music cuts her off. Mone walks out with a contract and gets booed hard. She says she’s not here to ruin the celebration. She demands Nightingale sign the contract for All In right now. Nightingale signs it on Mone’s chest. Mone shoves the contract in her face. Paquette announces the match is official.

Nightingale asks what Mone’s problem is. She says maybe it’s because the crowd didn’t give Mone all the attention for five seconds. Or maybe it’s because Nightingale remembers beating Mone to end her TBS Title reign. Nightingale says she has the one title Mone can’t win.

Mone says what she hates most isn’t Nightingale’s smile or the fans loving her. It’s that every milestone in Nightingale’s career is tied to Mone’s story. Nightingale is holding the one thing Mone is destined to have. The crowd boos her out of the building. Mone says she’ll end Nightingale’s fairytale at All In. She says Nightingale would be nothing without her. She demands Nightingale admit Mone made her and elevated her. She says she’ll take the title and the smile off her face.

Jon Moxley (c) vs. Komander — Continental Championship

The bell rings and Komander surprises Moxley with a quick roll‑up. Moxley kicks out. Komander shoots through the middle rope and wipes Moxley out on the floor.

Back from the break, Moxley rolls Komander up. Komander kicks out and hits a dropkick off the top rope. Moxley traps him in the corner and unloads right hands, then bites his head. Komander answers with a leg drop to the back of Moxley’s neck as Moxley hangs across the top rope. Komander walks the ropes and dives to the outside, crashing onto Moxley.

Komander hits a moonsault off the top rope. Moxley pops up, plants him with the Death Rider, and locks in the Bulldog Choke. Komander taps out.

Winner: Jon Moxley

Mick Foley & The Bang Bang Gang Backstage

Mick Foley stands with the Bang Bang Gang, but Jay White is nowhere to be seen. Ace Austin says they’ve got big problems. Colten Gunn says they’ve been screwed over by The Dogs and The Death Riders. Juice Robinson steps forward and issues a challenge to any mix of those two groups for Collision.

Juice says they’ve got two words. Foley jumps in with “Bang Bang.” Austin says that’s for any other night. Tonight, it’s Gunns Up.

The Conglomeration (c) vs. The Demand — AEW World Trios Championship

Toa Liona blasts Orange Cassidy before the bell. Bishop Kaun hits Roderick Strong with a sharp dropkick, but Kyle O’Reilly flies off the apron and wipes Kaun out. Strong drapes Kaun across his knee, letting Cassidy drop an elbow from the apron. Ricochet sprints down the ramp and launches himself off it, crashing onto Cassidy, Strong, and O’Reilly.

Cassidy and Liona slide into the ring, and the bell finally rings. Liona mocks Cassidy by stuffing his own hands into Cassidy’s pockets. He lifts Cassidy up, but Cassidy fires back with a shotgun dropkick.

Back from the break, Ricochet drills O’Reilly with a jumping knee. Liona cracks O’Reilly with a headbutt, and Kaun follows with a bodyslam. Ricochet hits a running standing Shooting Star Press on O’Reilly.

Cassidy tags in and climbs the ropes, but Ricochet meets him up top. Liona mows down Strong and O’Reilly with a double clothesline. Cassidy tries an Orange Punch, but Liona no‑sells it as Cassidy hangs onto his hand. Cassidy fires again and lands a second Orange Punch. Strong follows with an Angle Slam.

Jay Lethal and Lee Johnson sprint to the ring and distract The Conglomeration. Blake Christian sneaks in behind Cassidy and blasts him with one of the Trios Title belts. Ricochet tags in, hits the Spirit Gun, and covers Cassidy for the three count.

Winners (and new): The Demand

After the match, The Demand, The Lethal Twist, and The Conglomeration erupt into a brawl. Brody King charges down to even the odds. Hangman Page follows with a chair wrapped in barbed wire. Lethal grabs the chair, but Page drops him with a Buckshot Lariat.

Death Riders Backstage

The Death Riders stand backstage with Wheeler Yuta. Yuta says it’s another night and another win. He says it’s them against the world. He adds that the Bang Bang Gang want to blame them because Jay White can’t stay on the field.

PAC says they’ll see them tomorrow. Daniel Garcia says PAC is right, just like he was about Will Ospreay. Garcia calls Ospreay a coward who always ran from the grind when things got hard. He says that’s not how this works. Hard way in, harder way out. He tells Young Boy Billy he’ll see him soon.

Moxley says he’s sick of hearing everyone talk about how things should be done and acting like the morality police. He says they play by the rules that matter. He says the Continental Title represents what the sport is supposed to be — going to the ring and laying everything on the line. He says backstage is buzzing about the Continental Cup. Moxley screams that they run into the fire and tells everyone to bring it on. If his reign ends in a hail of gunfire and that’s how the Continental Classic finishes, then so be it.

We learn that Ospreay vs. Garcia will take place on Collision.

We Hear from AEW World Champion Kenny Omega & Will Ospreay

Tony Schiavone stands in the ring and introduces Kenny Omega. The crowd erupts with a huge reaction and not a single boo. Omega shakes Schiavone’s hand and barely gets a couple of words out before Will Ospreay’s music hits. Ospreay walks straight to the ring.

Omega says it’s fine and tells them to cut the music. He says what needs to be said is only for Ospreay. Since Ospreay came out, Omega wants to make it fun. He says they did this in kindergarten — show and tell. At Redemption, Omega showed Ospreay how he felt. Even if the fans misunderstood it, he thought Ospreay would get it. Now it’s time for the “tell” part.

Omega says Ospreay means the world to him. He brings up the promise they made to each other to try their best to win the big one. Omega says every time he put friendship before the belt, he did it one hundred percent. He says the reason he let Ospreay enter the Owen Hart Tournament was to see him succeed on his own. But how did Ospreay repay him? By telling Omega it sucked that he gave up on himself. Omega says Ospreay has no idea how deep those words cut. He asks if it looks like he gave up and holds up the AEW World Title as the crowd chants for him. Omega says Ospreay will never talk down to him again. He says he warned Ospreay about the Death Riders and Jon Moxley, and asks what Ospreay’s excuse is now that it blew up in his face.

Ospreay says he came back too early from neck surgery because he wanted revenge. When he thought he finally had it, it slipped away. Losing to Moxley made him feel like he lost much more. He apologizes to the fans for his body failing him. He says in that moment he had no friends. No Kyle, no Davis, no Callum, no Omega. The person who saved him was the man who took his old life away, the man he hated, the man who gave him an opportunity. Ospreay says he didn’t see the guy who broke his neck — he saw the former four‑time champion who could take him where he wanted to go.

Ospreay says if Omega wants honesty, he liked being a Death Rider. He liked the training and the camaraderie. It made him feel like he did in Japan, surrounded by killers. He understood why they protect this place. But that’s where it ends. He doesn’t share their philosophy. When he saw Omega with a chair around his neck, the same thing the Death Riders did to him, he couldn’t let someone he loves go through what he went through.

Omega says he remembers defending his title at Redemption and getting beaten down for minutes that felt like hours. He felt the chair around his neck and had no energy left. He closed his eyes and accepted his fate. Then he heard the crowd. He somehow knew Ospreay was there to save him. But when the minutes dragged on, he took the chair off himself and stood up. The scene told the story — Ospreay was standing there holding Omega’s belt and the ripped plastic bag. Omega says the reason it took Ospreay so long to help was because he even thought about doing it. Omega says Ospreay looked like he wanted a thank you for a trap he set himself.

Ospreay says he didn’t know. Omega slaps him. Omega says he thought Ospreay was his friend. Ospreay says he was his friend. Omega asks what he is now. Omega keeps slapping him and says Ospreay will always be a step behind. Omega throws one more slap. Ospreay fires back and nearly hits the Hidden Blade. Omega backs off.

Ospreay says no matter how much he loves Omega, if Omega puts his hands on him again, he’ll kick the sh*t out of him. He says since day one, he reminded fans that AEW is where the best wrestle. He earned his shot at the World Title. He says Omega is the biggest mountain he’s waited ten years to climb. Winners want the ball. The Ace wants the ball. Ospreay wants the ball. Ninety minutes are done. Extra time is done. They’re in penalties, and it’s his turn to kick. He says an entire country is depending on him. They’re asking if he can pull the trigger. He says he can — but he won’t do it from behind like Omega did or like Moxley wanted. No excuses. Best vs. best. He’ll pull the trigger when it matters most, when the title is on the line, when Omega sees it coming.

AEW Dynamite Preview – July 29, 2026

Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong of The Conglomeration defend the AEW World Trios Championship against Ricochet, Toa Liona, and Bishop Kaun of The Demand. Cassidy, O’Reilly, and Strong retained against Jay Lethal, Lee Johnson, and Blake Christian on the Redemption Buy‑In. Ricochet watched from the announce desk with Liona and Kaun, setting up tonight’s title match.

Willow Nightingale ended Thekla’s 165‑day reign as AEW Women’s World Champion at Redemption. She became the first AEW Women’s Grand Slam Champion. Willow now looks ahead to AEW All In on August 30, where she defends against Mercedes Mone. Tonight, she hosts a championship celebration.

Renee Paquette speaks with The Young Bucks and AEW World Tag Team Champions Christian Cage and Adam Copeland. A graphic at Redemption confirmed Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson will challenge Cage and Copeland for the titles at All In.
