Trey Miguel is officially staying with TNA Wrestling after returning to the company earlier this year, confirming a new contract extension.
The announcement was made on The Battleground Podcast and later confirmed by TNA on its official website. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Miguel has been sidelined since his loss to Mustafa Ali at the Rebellion event in April, where he dropped the International Championship. During that match, he suffered a broken patella (kneecap). TNA previously noted on television that he was expected to be out for approximately six to eight weeks and did not require surgery.
Trey Miguel TNA Return and Contract Update
Miguel’s new deal comes during a period of roster changes for TNA, which has seen several departures in recent weeks, including Steve Maclin, Tessa Blanchard, Dani Luna, and others.
The Rascalz member had briefly been linked with All Elite Wrestling after signing alongside his stablemates following the expiration of their previous TNA contracts at the end of 2025. However, he was released shortly after due to resurfaced social media posts from 2020 that he had previously addressed. Reports at the time indicated that Warner Bros. Discovery had significant influence in that decision.
After stepping away from the situation, Miguel made his return to TNA in January 2026. Since first joining the company years ago, he has built an impressive résumé that includes multiple reigns as X-Division Champion and Tag Team Champion, in addition to his most recent run as International Champion.
His re-signing signals continued commitment from TNA as the promotion looks to stabilize its roster heading into its next major events.
