Rhea Ripley Removed From Night of Champions Poster – WWE has made a minor but notable change to the official promotional poster for Night of Champions 2026 following a recent update involving Rhea Ripley.
When the poster was first revealed, it featured several top champions, including Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley, Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, and United States Champion Trick Williams. However, the company has now replaced Ripley with Women’s United States Champion Tiffany Stratton in the updated version.
Poster Change Follows Injury Update on SmackDown
The adjustment comes shortly after WWE announced on last Friday’s episode of SmackDown that Ripley is currently being evaluated for a knee injury. At the time of the announcement, Ripley did not have a confirmed match scheduled for Night of Champions, which likely contributed to the decision to remove her from the promotional material.
While there is no official timeline for her return, Ripley’s status remains uncertain as WWE continues to assess the situation. The change to the poster appears to reflect that uncertainty, rather than confirm her absence from the event.
In the meantime, there have been internal discussions regarding potential future plans for Ripley. Jacy Jayne, the leader of Fatal Influence, has reportedly been considered as a possible challenger for Ripley at SummerSlam, though nothing has been officially announced.
Interestingly, Tiffany Stratton’s addition to the poster does not currently align with the announced match card. As of now, Stratton has not been confirmed for a match at Night of Champions 2026, making her inclusion a notable detail that could hint at upcoming developments.
WWE has not provided further clarification on the change, but the updated poster reflects the latest shift in the company’s current plans as they continue building toward the premium live event.
WWE Night of Champions takes place from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on June 27. Here is the current card:
- King of the Ring finals: Oba Femi vs. either Jey Uso or Je’Von Evans
- Queen of the Ring finals: IYO SKY vs. either Charlotte Flair or Liv Morgan
- Steel cage match: Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker
- United States Champion Trick Williams defends against either Carmelo Hayes or Ricky Saints
