WWE RAW has added another major bout to its June 15 lineup, as Charlotte Flair is set to face Roxanne Perez in a first-time-ever singles match.
The bout was confirmed on Monday following a social media exchange between the two, giving RAW an additional women’s division matchup just days before a key tournament showdown. WWE acknowledged the situation and emphasized that Charlotte is heading into a demanding stretch.
“After an exchange on social media, Charlotte will take on Roxanne Perez of The Judgment Day just four days before the 14-time Women’s Champion battles Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan in the semifinals of the Queen of the Ring Tournament on SmackDown.”
This sets up a quick turnaround for Flair, who will meet Liv Morgan in the Queen of the Ring semifinals on WWE SmackDown later in the week. Facing Perez beforehand adds another layer of difficulty, especially with Perez aligned with The Judgment Day.
The June 15 show was already shaping up to be a packed episode. Roman Reigns is advertised for a return appearance, while Oba Femi is set to face Dominik Mysterio in the King of the Ring semifinals. On the women’s side, IYO SKY will take on Raquel Rodriguez in another Queen of the Ring semifinal match. In addition, Chad Gable is scheduled to go one-on-one with Rusev.
With Charlotte now facing Perez before her semifinal match, the added bout could play a role in how she performs later in the week. Perez, meanwhile, gets a high-profile opportunity against one of WWE’s most decorated champions, with a chance to make an immediate impact.
The June 15 episode of RAW will air live from CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore at 8 p.m. Eastern Time on Netflix.
