Actor and comedian Eric Andre found himself involved in a chaotic moment on WWE RAW after becoming an unexpected target of Jacob Fatu during the show’s opening segment.
The segment featured Roman Reigns, the reigning World Heavyweight Champion, alongside The Usos and Fatu as part of The Bloodline storyline. Andre was seated in the front row and visibly engaged as tensions played out in the ring. A confrontation between Jey Uso and Fatu led to Fatu reaffirming his acknowledgment of Reigns as the “OTC,” while also making it clear he would not align himself with The Usos.
The segment progressed with Reigns officially welcoming Fatu into The Bloodline. As part of the initiation, Fatu was presented with his own ula fala, signaling his place within the faction.
Eric Andre Pulled Into the Ring After Ringside Incident
As the group began to leave the ring, Andre reached out and touched the ula fala worn by Fatu. That brief moment quickly escalated. Fatu reacted immediately, grabbing Andre and dragging him over the barricade before throwing him into the ring.
Fatu appeared ready to deliver a splash, but the situation drew concern from WWE officials. Adam Pearce and multiple referees rushed to the ring in an attempt to stop the attack. Despite their efforts, it was Reigns who ultimately controlled the situation. He stepped onto the apron and ordered Fatu to hold off, temporarily halting the assault.
The pause did not last long. After a brief moment, Reigns gave Fatu permission to continue. Fatu then delivered a top-rope splash onto Andre. Reigns escalated things further by calling for a second impact, which Fatu executed without hesitation, leaving Andre laid out in the ring.
Following the segment, the broadcast cut to a commercial break. Footage shown afterward captured Pearce and WWE officials assisting Andre up the ramp. Commentary noted visible damage to Andre’s ribs and confirmed he would be evaluated by medical personnel.
The angle added another intense chapter to The Bloodline storyline while also creating a memorable crossover moment involving a mainstream celebrity. The segment reinforced Fatu’s aggressive presence within the group and highlighted Reigns’ control over the faction, as he ultimately dictated when the attack began and ended.
