Jack Perry’s status with All Elite Wrestling is still uncertain as new information indicates he has not finalized a new contract. The situation has been developing for weeks, and there is still no confirmed agreement in place.
Perry has been part of AEW since the company launched in 2019. His current deal is believed to be close to expiring, which has raised questions about his future. Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez shared the latest update and made it clear that, as of his most recent information, Perry had not signed a new deal.
“As of last week, he was not. It’s possible he signed today, but I think he’s still unsigned,” Alvarez said.
Jack Perry AEW contract update
This update follows earlier reports that Perry’s contract could expire at any time. Discussions between both sides have been ongoing, and there has been an expectation that a new agreement would eventually be reached. However, Alvarez noted that nothing is guaranteed at this stage.
Perry is one of the longest-tenured wrestlers on the AEW roster. Over the years, he has built a strong resume. His accomplishments include winning the TNT Championship, the National Championship, and the AEW World Tag Team Championship as part of Jurassic Express. He also held the FTW Championship before it was retired. In addition, Perry won the Casino Battle Royale at Double or Nothing 2021, which marked a key moment early in his career.
Recent results have not been in his favor. He was eliminated from the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament by Mark Davis. That result came after Davis defeated him weeks earlier to capture the National Championship during the Fairway to Hell special. Perry also suffered a loss to Zack Sabre Jr. on last night’s episode of Dynamite.
With his contract status still unresolved, Perry’s next move remains unclear. While there is still a possibility he will stay with AEW, no official confirmation has been made.
