TNA Wrestling may be preparing to introduce another championship, as a new report suggests discussions have taken place regarding expanding the women’s division with an additional title.
According to Fightful Select, the idea of adding a midcard championship for the Knockouts division has been pitched internally. While details remain limited, the report noted that a women’s tournament had previously been considered for July, potentially serving as a way to crown the inaugural champion. However, it is unclear if recent creative changes have delayed or altered those plans.
Currently, TNA features a total of six active championships across its roster. Mike Santana holds the TNA World Championship, while Lei Ying Lee is the reigning Knockouts Champion. Other titleholders include Mustafa Ali as International Champion, Cedric Alexander as X-Division Champion, along with tag team champions The System and Knockouts Tag Team Champions The Elegance Brand.
If introduced, this would mark the first new championship added by TNA since the International Championship was unveiled as a replacement for the Digital Media Title, which had only been established in March 2025. The move would signal a continued effort to strengthen the promotion’s title structure and provide more opportunities within the Knockouts division.
TNA’s women’s roster currently includes 18 competitors, giving the company a solid foundation to support another title. A midcard championship could help spotlight rising talent while creating additional storyline depth beneath the Knockouts Championship picture.
There is also speculation that an official announcement could be made at TNA Slammiversary, which takes place this Sunday. While nothing has been confirmed, the timing would provide a high-profile platform for revealing such a development.
For now, the situation remains fluid, but the possibility of a new Knockouts title reflects TNA’s ongoing focus on expanding its women’s division.
