Nikkita Lyons captured her first title in WWE by defeating Wendy Choo to become the new WWE Evolve Women’s Champion.
The title change took place on the June 24, 2026 edition of WWE Evolve Succession III, where Lyons secured the victory following a competitive match. The finish saw Lyons connect with a spinning front kick to Choo’s face, leading to a three-count pinfall.
First Title Win In WWE
The victory marks Lyons’ first championship reign in WWE, adding a milestone achievement to her growing résumé. While she has been featured prominently across WWE programming, this is her first time holding gold since joining the company.
Choo’s reign comes to an end after 70 days. She originally won the title on March 20, 2026, and successfully defended it twice during her run. The match itself had been taped earlier, with the title change taking place on May 29 before airing this week.
Continued Presence On NXT
Outside of WWE Evolve, Lyons continues to appear regularly on WWE NXT. She is currently aligned with Natalya and Karmen Petrovic as part of an emerging group on the brand.
The title win could further elevate her standing as she balances appearances across multiple WWE platforms.
Main Roster Speculation Addressed
There had been prior discussion about Lyons potentially moving to WWE RAW this summer. However, more recent reports indicate that those plans are not currently in place.
For now, Lyons adds championship success to her ongoing run, with her focus remaining on Evolve and NXT.
