Thea Hail has been largely absent from regular WWE NXT programming throughout 2026, but a new report suggests that could soon change with a shift in direction.
According to False Finish, Hail is expected to begin appearing on WWE EVOLVE in the near future. The move could provide her with a clearer role after spending much of the year without consistent television time.
Hail’s momentum slowed significantly following the breakup of Chase U in 2025. During that period, she was featured prominently and became one of the more energetic and recognizable acts on NXT. Since then, her appearances have been sporadic, with no sustained storyline to reestablish her position.
Her most notable television opportunity this year came in the Women’s Speed Title No. 1 Contender’s Tournament. Hail was eliminated by Izzi Dame, and since that loss, she has only made limited appearances on TV. Much of her work has taken place off-camera at live events and in dark matches.
In recent months, Hail has competed against names such as Myka Lockwood and Kelani Jordan, but these matches have not translated into a consistent on-screen presence. This lack of exposure has made it difficult for her to regain the momentum she once had.
WWE EVOLVE Could Offer Fresh Direction
With a potential move to WWE EVOLVE, Hail may find the opportunity she needs to rebuild. The platform has quickly become a space where WWE can showcase talent that is not currently featured heavily on NXT television, allowing performers to gain regular ring time and refine their characters.
For Hail, this could mark an important reset. Instead of being tied to her previous identity as the centerpiece of Chase U, she may now have the chance to develop a new direction and reintroduce herself to audiences.
At just 22 years old, Hail still has significant time to grow within WWE. While her presence on NXT has been limited this year, the reported EVOLVE appearances suggest that the company is still invested in her development and looking for ways to reestablish her on a consistent basis.
