WWE creative is reportedly laying the groundwork for a major direction shift for Ivy Nile, even as her current contract with the company approaches its expiration date this fall.
Nile’s allies in American Made, The Creed Brothers (Julius Creed and Brutus Creed), recently made a surprise return to WWE NXT. Naturally, that shift sparked widespread fan speculation regarding when Nile might resurface alongside them or return to WWE television in a single’s capacity.
Significant Creative Changes Discussed For Nile
According to a report from Fightful Select, high-level creative plans have been quietly brewing behind the scenes for the former NXT standout.
“Creative sources within WWE claim that there have been plans for Ivy Nile being developed for quite a while that would see a big change for her,” Fightful Select reported.
The report also noted that Nile’s WWE contract is set to expire later this fall. While there is no official confirmation yet on whether a contract extension has been signed, the ongoing creative discussions in recent months strongly indicate WWE’s clear interest in retaining her on the roster long-term.
From Diamond Mine To American Made
Nile initially signed a developmental deal with WWE following a tryout in 2020. After spending three years establishing herself as an elite powerhouse on the NXT brand, she was called up to Monday Night RAW alongside The Creed Brothers as part of Diamond Mine.
The trio eventually aligned with Chad Gable to form the heel faction American Made. However, after Gable suffered an injury in late 2025, the group’s television momentum gradually slowed down on the red brand.
Nile’s most recent match on Monday Night RAW occurred back in March 2026, though she continued to compete sporadically in ring action, including a victory against PJ Vasa on the August 3 episode of WWE Main Event. With creative plans now reportedly taking shape, Nile could be poised for a significant career reinvention in the near future.
