WWE RAW Preview for September 15 – Tonight’s episode of WWE RAW takes place at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Massachusetts, and serves as the official go-home show before this Saturday’s inaugural Wrestlepalooza premium live event. The broadcast will begin at a special earlier start time of 7 p.m. ET as part of WWE’s three-week experiment going head-to-head with the NFL’s Monday Night Football.
John Cena will return to his home state just five days before his highly anticipated singles clash with Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza. After Lesnar’s surprise appearance on last week’s SmackDown, fans can expect Cena to deliver his final words before stepping into the ring with “The Beast.”
RAW will also feature a face-to-face confrontation involving all four superstars in the mixed tag team match scheduled for Wrestlepalooza. World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will team with Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, while their opponents CM Punk and the returning AJ Lee will stand across from them in the ring for the first time together ahead of Saturday’s showdown.
Several matches have also been confirmed for tonight’s broadcast. Lyra Valkyria, looking to rebound after a tough loss last week, will face The Judgment Day’s Roxanne Perez. The ongoing feud between Penta and The New Day continues when Penta battles Kofi Kingston in singles action. Additionally, Dragon Lee will go one-on-one with El Grande Americano.
With Cena’s return, major confrontations, and key matches leading into Wrestlepalooza, tonight’s episode of RAW is expected to set the tone for this weekend’s historic event. The show airs live tonight on Netflix at 7 p.m. ET.
