The vignette saw Bayley open up about the lingering guilt she feels after her actions toward Lyra Valkyria, admitting that she doesn’t know how to move forward or if anything she’s done has made a difference.
“The last person I wanted to hurt is Lyra. Maybe… I just don’t know how Lyra can forgive me when I can’t forgive myself,” Bayley confessed.
From there, the internal dialogue returned, with competing voices pulling her in opposite directions. One taunted her with, “Are you done yet? Save this for your diary.” Another, more compassionate voice encouraged her, saying, “I’m proud of you for admitting your mistakes. Maybe you should talk to her.”
The conflict escalated as the harsher voice urged Bayley to move on and focus on what was best for “them,” while the gentler side pushed back, insisting that the only way forward was to make amends with Lyra.
The vignette closed with Bayley quietly but firmly declaring, “I’ll make it right,” signaling that she may be on the path toward reconciliation, though the battle within her remains unresolved.
