Andrade Reportedly Gone from WWE – According to a new report from Fightful Select, Andrade is no longer with WWE. Sean Ross Sapp confirmed the news on social media, noting that user @WrestleMobs first pointed out Andrade’s profile had been shifted to the alumni section of WWE’s official website. The departure comes less than a year after his highly anticipated return.
Andrade’s comeback took place in January 2024 when he entered the Men’s Royal Rumble as a surprise entrant, shortly after his AEW contract expired. Following his return, he was placed on RAW and made clear that his primary goal was to capture a world championship. His initial run on the brand included notable wins over Apollo Crews and Giovanni Vinci.
Later that spring, Andrade was drafted to SmackDown during the 2024 WWE Draft. His move reignited speculation of a reunion with Zelina Vega. The storyline eventually aligned Andrade with Vega and the Latino World Order in their feud against Santos Escobar’s new version of Legado Del Fantasma, which featured Elektra Lopez, Angel, and Humberto. Despite the promising setup, the feud primarily involved multi-man tag team matches and did not lead to any major singles opportunities.
Andrade’s last major appearance came at Clash in Paris, where he competed in a Six-Man Tag Team match but finished on the losing side. His latest tenure has been described as underwhelming compared to his earlier WWE career, which saw him rise to prominence as an NXT Champion and later capture the United States Championship.
His first stint ended in 2021 after he requested his release, paving the way for his run in AEW before returning to WWE in 2024. Now, less than a year later, Andrade once again finds himself moving on from the company.
