Drew McIntyre Shares WrestleMania Week “Guidelines” for Fans – With WrestleMania Week in full swing across Las Vegas, WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre has delivered a straightforward and brutally honest message to fans traveling to Sin City for the biggest week in wrestling.
In a social media video titled as a public service announcement, McIntyre didn’t hold back as he urged fans to make the most of the experience—without making it miserable for everyone else, including WWE talent.
“WrestleMania week is here — the most exciting time of the year,” McIntyre said. “Pro wrestling is on fire. We’re in a golden age beyond golden age… But I’m worried about you guys. I’m concerned you’re gonna’ screw it up.”
He then offered a list of key “Do’s and Don’ts” for fans attending WrestleMania Week:
The Do’s:
- Respect the Wrestlers and Each Other – McIntyre emphasized that WWE Superstars are juggling heavy schedules, and fans should be mindful of their time and space.
- Wear Deodorant – A blunt but necessary reminder, McIntyre included this simple hygiene tip to ensure a pleasant environment for all.
- Support Independent Wrestling – He encouraged fans to explore shows outside of WWE, highlighting that indie promotions are thriving during WrestleMania Week.
The Don’ts:
- Don’t Stalk Airports – “Don’t hang around the airport with ten items for us to sign,” he said, urging fans to use official signings instead.
- Stay Out of the Hotel – Calling the hotel “our house for the week,” McIntyre asked fans to respect the private space shared with friends and family.
- Avoid Interrupting Private Moments – McIntyre cautioned fans against lingering or eavesdropping when wrestlers are engaged in conversations.
- Don’t Bring Merchandise to Public Places – He discouraged fans from showing up at restaurants or gyms with stacks of merchandise to sign.
- Don’t Use Real Names – “Don’t call us by our government names,” he warned, noting the behavior is especially invasive toward female talent.
McIntyre closed the video with a final reminder: “If you have a bad experience this week, it’s probably because you didn’t listen to me. So don’t be that guy.”
