Jacob Fatu Destroys Braun Strowman at Saturday Night’s Main Event – Braun Strowman faced Jacob Fatu in a heated bout at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, which ended in chaos after Fatu’s relentless assault left Strowman bloodied and battered. Despite Strowman technically winning by disqualification, it was Fatu who left a lasting impression, standing tall over his opponent.
The match began with Strowman using his power advantage, sending Fatu to the mat with punches and a back elbow. The action spilled to the outside, where Strowman attempted his signature “Wacky Lap” shoulder tackles, sending Fatu into the barricade and later over the announce table. Fatu retaliated with a Samoan drop onto the announce table and a barrage of headbutts, turning the momentum in his favor.
Returning to the ring, Fatu unleashed a series of devastating running hip attacks in the corner, battering Strowman repeatedly. When the referee tried to intervene, Fatu tossed him aside, resulting in a disqualification. However, Fatu’s fury didn’t end there. He continued his assault, grabbing a steel chair and attacking security and officials who attempted to restrain him.
As producers and referees tried to de-escalate the situation, Fatu executed multiple double-jump moonsaults on the already bloodied Strowman, leaving him with visible injuries to his nose and mouth. Tama Tonga eventually came out to calm Fatu, but the damage had already been done. Even as Fatu exited, he returned to hit yet another moonsault, emphasizing his dominance.
Strowman was attended to by medical personnel, while Fatu left the arena with a clear message: he’s a force to be reckoned with. This brutal encounter has set the stage for what could become a deeply personal and violent rivalry between the two heavyweights.
