MJF Brutally Attacks Daniel Garcia on 7/3 AEW Dynamite

MJF Brutally Attacks Daniel Garcia on 7/3 AEW Dynamite – In the main event of the July 3 episode of AEW Dynamite, Daniel Garcia challenged Will Ospreay for the AEW International Championship. MJF accompanied Garcia to the ring and even attempted to help him cheat by giving Garcia his Dynamite Diamond Ring. However, Garcia refused to use it, allowing Ospreay to capitalize and hit the Hidden Blade for the win.

After the match (full segment below), a disheartened Garcia was approached by Ospreay, who spoke to him briefly before leaving. MJF then tried to console Garcia, only to shockingly turn on him by kicking him below the belt. MJF proceeded to brutally attack Garcia, hitting both Garcia and Matt Menard with the Dynamite Diamond Ring and leaving them bloodied. His assault continued as he took down security officials who tried to intervene. MJF grabbed Garcia, trash-talked him about whether he had “restored the feeling,” and then delivered a devastating Tombstone Piledriver off the second rope.

Will Ospreay rushed in to save Garcia, prompting MJF to flee the scene. Garcia was then loaded onto a stretcher and taken away, with MJF throwing trash at fans on his way out. The shocking betrayal and vicious attack left a lasting impression on the AEW audience.

As noted, Daniel Garcia’s contract status with AEW remains uncertain, leading fans to speculate that the dramatic segment on the July 3 episode of AEW Dynamite might have been designed to write Garcia off television. The intense and brutal attack by MJF, which left Garcia bloodied and stretchered out, could serve as a storyline exit for the talented wrestler amid ongoing contract negotiations. This unexpected turn of events has sparked numerous discussions among fans about Garcia’s future in AEW and whether he might be stepping away from the company.
