5/6 WWE RAW – King And Queen Of The Ring Results – We are live from the XL Center in Hartford, CT, as the Judgment Day members made their way to the ring.
Damian Priest starts off and mentions Jey Uso. Priest asks the crowd if they love him. Priest says France loved him too, but in the end, that didn’t matter because he is still your World Champion. Priest says he wants to talk about what happened with THE Judgment Day at Backlash.
Finn says when he and JD apologized after Backlash, they meant it.
Priest says he is fine with that. He wants to discuss what happened after the match. Priest says that was on him. Priest says he lost his cool. You were there to make sure that he stayed champion. Priest says he is sorry and he thanks JD and Finn. Priest says he appreciates JD. He tells Finn that he is his brother and he hugs them.
Dom wants to join in the hug like Matthew wanting to join in with anything Bill does.
Priest says he is still the champion and they are the most dominant faction in WWE. Finn Balor is your next King of the Ring. Finn says since Drew isn’t medically cleared, guess who gets a bye into the next round. Finn says that is the first step of the Prince becoming the King. Finn wants Samantha to come over…
Adam Pearce comes out and interrupts. He says Finn is confused. Drew is out of the tournament, but you aren’t getting a first round bye. Adam says he runs Raw. Being crowned King fo the Ring is one of the biggest honors in WWE and you have to earn it. He tells THE Judgment Day to get out of the ring because what happened at Backlash isn’t happening tonight. Adam says that Finn’s opponent is Jey Uso and he’s next!

WWE King of the Ring First-Round Match
Jey Uso vs. Finn Balor
They lock up and Finn with a rollup and he gets a near fall. Finn with a side head lock. Finn with a near fall and an arm bar. Jey with a double leg take down and a La Magistral for a near fall. Finn with a kick and he sends Jey into the turnbuckles. Finn with punches and kicks to Jey. Finn misses a punch and Jey with punches. Jey with a sunset flip but Finn rolls through with a drop kick because, in addition to Rey Mysterio, you don’t sunset flip Finn Balor. Finn gets a near fall. Finn with kicks and he poses. Finn with a reverse chin lock. Finn with a forearm to the back and he holds on to the reverse chin lock.
Jey backs Finn into the ropes but Jey misses a punch. Finn with a chop and he sends Jey into the turnbuckles and follows with shoulders and a chop for a near fall. Finn with a punch. Finn cokes Jey in the ropes and Balor is sent to the floor and Jey with a suicide dive. Jey sends Finn back into the ring and Jey follows but Finn rolls to the floor so Jey goes back to the floor and he comes off the ring steps but Finn with a punch to the midsection. Finn sends Jey into the ring post and over the announce table. Finn stands on the table and he mocks the crowd.

We are back and Jey punches Finn on the turnbuckles but Jey takes too long for the final punch and Finn pulls Jey into the turnbuckles. Finn with punches on the turnbuckles followed by a chop and snap mare. Finn with a drop kick for a near fall. Finn with an elbow to the top of the head. Finn with a reverse chin lock. Jey with punches and Finn with a knee. Finn has punches blocked and Jey with punches of his own and he ends with a spit punch. Finn sends Jey to the apron but Jey with a round kick and a cross body for a near fall. Finn falls into the corner and Jey sets for the running hip into the corner but Finn recovers and hits a flying clothesline.
Finn with boots to the chest. Jey gets Finn on his shoulders but Finn with a rake of the eyes and a take down for a near fall. Finn sets for Sling Blade and Jey avoids it and Jey with a thrust kick and uppercut. Jey with a super kick and he goes up top for a frog splash. Jey misses and rolls through when Finn moves. Finn with a running drop kick to send Jey into the turnbuckles. Finn goes up for Coup de Grace but Jey moves. Jey with a spear for a near fall.
Drew McIntyre makes his way to ringside through the crowd.
Finn with a rollup for a near fall. Finn with sling blade and he sets for a drop kick. Jey with a spear for the three count.
Winner: Jey Uso (advances to face winner of Ilja Dragunov versus Ricochet)
– We see Ivy Nile and Zoey Stark in the back preparing for their matches.
– Becky Lynch walks in the garage.

– We are back and Sheamus and Gunther will be the main event tonight. We have a video package.
Backstage:
Adam Pearce and Drew McIntyre walk in the back and Drew complains about Jey taking his place. Drew says he would tape his arm up. Adam says that Drew talked about his arm and then the doctors looked at him and they said he wasn’t cleared.
Drew leaves the building. Another car shows up and it’s CM Punk. Pearce tells Punk he is late. Pearce tells Punk he just missed Drew. Punk asks Pearce to have the truck play his music because he has something to say. CM Punk makes his way to the ring.
In the Arena:
Punk says it is good to be alive on a Monday in Hartford. He apologizes for showing up late. He says he got locked in at headquarters and when he got out, he decided to drive to Hartford. He also drove to get in a fight with Drew, but Drew has left the building. Punk reminds everyone about his promo from last week being shorter than Drew’s title reign. Punk asks if they go over the time and he stays long enough for Drew to come back. You know Drew is scrolling through Twitter and he tells everyone to tweet at Drew that Punk is live and in living color. If Drew isn’t a coward, he will turn around and he will come back to this building. On top of the ice that Gordie Howe skated on with the Hartford Whalers, he can get his ass kicked.
Punk says he will hold this show hostage and he says he would ask what they want to talk about, but that is someone else’s deal. Punk asks if he can tell a story.
In the Royal Rumble, Drew DDTed him so hard that Punk tore the tricep off the bone trying to protect himself. Punk says he thought Drew ruined his Wrestlemania dreams. He had a great cry and a great surgery. Drew didn’t ruin anything, he just postponed or delayed his dreams. In baseball, they call him a five tool player and he can do everything. He can do commentary and that is what he did. Punk calls Drew a tool.
For weeks and months, he tuned into this show and listened to Drew running his mouth saying he prayed for Punk to get injured. Drew picked a fight with the pettiest man on the roster, and maybe on Earth. Punk says he is going to make Drew’s life a living hell. Drew went from ‘I injured Punk’ to ‘Punk ruined my Wrestlemania plans’. He injured his elbow. He hates the way he talks.
Punk says all Drew does it talk about him. He sits like him. He wants to be like him. Punk wonders if Drew hates Punk or himself. Punk says Drew is a choke artist. He says he is the unintended consequences of Drew’s actions. You prayed for this and Punk says he broke Drew’s elbow. Next time, he will break Drew’s face… and then his heart. All this praying you are going to do, and he does not know if Drew is a God fearing man, he proved that he is afraid on one three syllable thing, CM Punk.
Backstage:
Cathy Kelley is with Ricochet and she asks him about his match against Ilja Dragunov. RIcochet says he is very aware of Ilja and everything he accomplished, tonight is his chance. Braun Strowman shows up and Cathy asks why did Braun get involved with THE Judgment Day. Braun says he won’t let bullies do their thing. He says tonight is about Ricochet.

IYO SKY vs. Natalya
They lock up and Nattie with a wrist lock. Iyo with a reversal. Nattie with a wrist lock back drop for a near fall. Nattie with a waist lock. Iyo with a standing switch and Nattie with a standing switch. Nattie with a take down into a knee bar. Iyo kicks Nattie but Nattie sets for the Sharpshooter and Iyo kicks her away. Iyo with chops and forearms. Nattie sends Iyo to the apron and Iyo with a forearm. Nattie misses a baseball slide when Iyo leaps over her. Iyo misses an Asai moonsault when Nattie moves and Nattie kicks Iyo into the apron. Nattie gets a near fall. Nattie with a waist lock and Iyo with a standing switch. Iyo goes through the ropes and Nattie goes throat first into the ropes. Iyo with a springboard drop kick for a near fall.

We are back and Nattie and Iyo exchange forearms. Iyo with a Shotei and Nattie with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Iyo goes up top and Nattie punches Iyo to stop her. Nattie goes to the turnbuckles and she sets for a superplex and hits it. Nattie gets a near fall. Iyo with a crossface. Nattie gets to her feet and she connects with elbows. Iyo with a victory roll and a double stomp. Iyo with a drop kick and she gets a near fall. Iyo sets for a power bomb but Nattie with a back body drop. Iyo holds on and gets a near fall with a sunset flip. They exchange near falls. Iyo goes for a jackknife cover but Nattie counters with a sit out power bomb and she gets a near fall.
Nattie goes for a slingshot atomic drop but Iyo counters iwth a rollup. Dakota helps Iyo and the referee warns Dakota. Nattie goes for a Sharpshooter but Iyo sends Nattie into the turnbuckles to escape. Iyo with a double knee strike and then she hits the moonsault for the three count.
Winner: Iyo Sky (advances to face winner of Shayna Baszler versus Zelina Vega)
After the match, Dakota has a mic. She says two years ago, they took over Raw when they took out Becky Lynch. They are back to put everyone on notice. Iyo dominated against Nattie while Dakota says she will stand in for Asuka to face the bird lady . . . Lyra. Now that they are here, she has a warning for free. Jade . . . Bianca, enjoy the tag titles. Becky, when you are done with Liv Morgan, we are going to take everything.
– We have a video for Ilja Dragunov. There is no pain you can inflict that he has already felt himself. He drank from the chalice of suffering. He says hell feels like home. He says he is Ilja Dragunov.

Ricochet vs. Ilja Dragunov
Ilja with a kick and wrist lock into a waist lock. Ricochet has a kick blocked and Ilja flips himi to his feet. Ilja misses a kick but he chops Ricochet. Ilja with a chop and a dead lift German suplex attempt that is blocked by Ricochet with an elbow. Ilja with an enzuigiri and Ricochet with a jumping knee.

We are back and Ricochet with a chop and Irish whip. Ilja sends Ricochet to the apron and Ricochet with a kick and a springboard clothesline. Ricochet with a shooting star press for a near fall. Ilja avoids a kick and hits a jumping kick and a German suplex. Ilja holds on and hits another one despite Ricochet’s attempts to escape with elbows. Ilja holds on and Ricochet powers out of the waist lock and connects with an elbow. Ricochet goes for a handspring move and Ilja catches him and goes for a German suplex but Ricochet lands on his feet. Ilja is sent to the apron and Ricochet knocks him to the floor. Ricochet goes for a moonsault off the turnbuckles to the floor but Ilja moves and Ricochet lands on his feet. Ilja with a German suplex on the floor.
Ilja goes up top and hits a springboard drop kick to the side of the head for a near fall. Ilja pulls Ricochet into the corner and Ilja goes up top for a back senton but Ricochet recovers and punches Ilja. Ricochet goes to the turnbuckles and Ilja knocks Ricochet to the apron. Ricochet leaps to the top rope and hits a Frankensteiner. Ilja goes to the floor and Ricochet with a suicide dive. Ricochet wtih a second one to Ilja. Ilja staggers on the floor and falls to the floor. Ricochet with a Fosbury Flop onto Ilja.

We are back and Ilja has Ricochet on his shoulders for a Death Valley Driver but Ricochet lands on his feet. Ilja with elbows and Konstantin Special for a near fall. Ilja pulls Ricochet into position and Ilja goes up top for a back senton and he hits it for a near fall. Ilja with chops in the corner and he forces Ricochet to the mat. Ilja with a knee and Ricochet with a super kick. Ricochet gets Ilja on his shoulders but Ilja gets to his feet. Ilja with a kick and Ricochet with a thrust kick. Ricochet with a rolling Death Valley Driver followed by a quebrada for a near fall. Ricochet pulls Ilja into the corner. Ricochet leaps over Ilja and Ilja with a knee. Ilja with a running knee and he sets for a power bomb and Ricochet lands on his feet. Ricochet with a poisonrana. Ricochet with a quebrada but Ilja with a forearm and a power bomb followed by H Bomb. Ilja sets for Torpedo Moscow but Ricochet counters with Recoil for a near fall.
Ilja stops Ricochet on the turnbuckles and Ilja with a superplex and he sets for H Bomb and hits it for the three count.

Jackie Redmond is with Sheamus in the back. She asks him about his match against Gunther in the King of the Ring. Sheamus says he has had medical procedures on his neck to get back into the ring. He says he doesn’t like Gunther and Gunther doesn’t like him. It would be unbearable to have King Gunther. He has had banger after banger with Gunther. Tonight, he is going to kick his arse and become a two time King of the Ring.

Zoey Stark vs. Ivy Nile
Zoey runs Ivy into the corner and connects with punches. Ivy with an Irish whip and Zoey floats over and Ivy blocks a clothesline. Ivy gets Zoey up and Zoey gets to her feet. Zoey with a kick. Ivy with a forearm and Zoey fires back. IVy with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Ivy with a front face lock into a rear naked choke. Zoey floats over and gets a near fall. Ivy with a delayed vertical suplex. Ivy with a running thrust kick and a kick that sends Zoey to the apron. Zoey pulls Ivy into the ropes as Zoey goes to the floor. Zoey with a kick from the apron and she hits a springboard drop kick for a near fall. Zoey puts Ivy on the turnbuckles and she sets for a half and half superplex but Ivy with elbows. Ivy with a bulldog off the turnbuckles for a near fall.
Zoey with a punch and she blocks a series of kicks. Zoey with a super kick and a sliding boot to the head for a near fall. Zoey with forearms to Ivy. Zoey with a boot to the back. Zoey goes to the turnbuckles and Ivy with a chop to stop Zoey. Ivy goes up top for a superplex and Zoey blocks it. Zoey with a forearm and Ivy with punches. Zoey slides under and pulls Ivy off the turnbuckles and Ivy hits the turnbuckles. Zoey with a gutwrench reverse suplex and Z360 for the three count.

R Truth is with Adam Pearce to suggest their next opponents and make it title versus title. He brings in Dan Hurley. Miz shows up and he tells Truth they need to talk about their title matches. Miz says they can’t face UConn. He says they can’t fight the Huskies because they are a basketball team. Miz says he will talk to Pearce about their next title match.
Bron Breakker stops Pearce before he can get a drink. Bron wants to know why he isn’t in the King of the Ring. Pearce says he will talk about it with Bron in his office.

Backstage:
Finn is in the back and he says he should have had that against Jey. Priest says it was one lost. JD says that Finn isn’t 100% because of what Braun did to him. Priest says that JD has Braun. Dom brings Carlito to CLUBHOUSE and Priest says it was a year ago that Carlito cost him at Backlash. He doesn’t care what is going on with Rey. Carlito says they rule Raw and he needs help with the LWO. Priest tells Carlito to leave.
Chad Gable vs. Bronson Reed
Chad and Reed exchange chops. Reed with a Death Valley Driver for a near fall. Chad with a German suplex for a near fall. Chad misses a diving head butt and Reed hits a back senton. Reed goes up top and Chad stops him. Chad with a head and arm superplex.
Sami Zayn attacks Chad and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Chad Gable (by disqualification)
Sami goes after Reed and sends him to the floor. Chad with a German suplex to Zayn. Zayn with an exploder into the corner and Sami sets for a Helluva Kick. Reed stops Sami and hits a uranage. Reed with a uranage to Chad.
Reed walks through the back and Adam Pearce is standing in Gorilla. He says they can’t control themselves. Reed says he doesn’t care about Chad or Sami. He cares about the championship. He says if you want control, you know what you have to do.
– We take a look at Lyra Valkyria. She says being drafted to Raw is an incredible journey that she has been planning her entire career. She wants to be known as one of the best. She says she has the honor of entering Queen of the Ring to face some of the top stars for the biggest prize in the industry. Is Raw ready for her?
– Becky Lynch walks in the back as we go to commercial.
Backstage:
We are back and Gunther says he is facing Sheamus tonight. He heard that Sheamus is concerned after putting on banger after banger. He does not care about bangers. Gunther says he only cares about being the best of all time. If he has to expose Sheamus as the people pleasing failure, he will do it. Already the general of the ring, soon to be the King of the Ring.
In the Arena:
Michael Cole is in the ring with chairs and he brings out Becky Lynch.
Cole congratulates Becky for being a multi time champion. Cole brings up Becky’s appearance at the Kentucky Derby and he wants to know what she was wearing.
Becky says being a champion means representing the company at the biggest events in the biggest hats possible. Becky says she thinks it works.
Cole asks about the draft and Queen of the Ring and who are some of the competitors she is looking forward to facing.
Becky says there are a lot of people in the back who want to slap her in the face and she is looking forward to it. Becky says she came up to Raw nine years ago and she wanted to change things. She mentions Alba Fyre, who was the longest reigning NXT UK Champion. You have Isla Dawn, an enigma with passion. You have Kiana James and she is athletic but she wouldn’t trust her. Becky mentions Lyra Valkyria.
Cole asks Becky about her history with Lyra and their match in NXT.
Becky says Lyra is the most gifted competitor she has faced in the ring.
Cole mentions Zelina Vega. Becky says she knows Zelina is hungry.
Cole asks about the last month when she faced Rhea at Wrestlemania. Becky says she was sick, but she isn’t going to make excuses. She is about overcoming the odds. She says that loss will make her a better fighter. Becky says she was able to beat fourteen others to become . . .
Liv Morgan’s music interrupts and she makes her way down the aisle to the ring.
Liv comments on how Becky said nothing. Liv asks why didn’t Becky mention her so far. Liv says she is tired of being overlooked and underestimated her. Liv says she is a Money in the Bank winner, former Women’s champion, former Tag Team champion, she beat Nia Jax last week, and she took out Rhea Ripley. Liv says after that, she cannot get an ounce of respect from Becky blows her mind.
Liv brings up the title match she was owed.
Becky says Liv gets the title match at King and Queen of the Ring. Becky says Liv has never beaten her.
Liv says Becky is right that she has never beaten Liv one-on-one. Liv says she has been missing purpose. Now that she has her purpose, she knows she can beat Becky by taking everything Rhea ever loved and that means becoming Women’s Champion.
Dakota Kai, Iyo Sky, and Kairi Sane come out.
Dakota points out that Liv gets a title shot she did nothing to earn. That is fine. Why not fight it out. Dakota says Iyo has already advanced to the second round and Dakota says she will do the same. Dakota says they want to remind them who really runs Raw.
Liv leavs the ring on the one free side to leave Becky alone with Damage CTRL. Becky fights them off for a moment and then the numbers are too much. Lyra Valkyria makes her way to the ring and she takes care of Iyo and Kairi while Becky takes care of Dakota.

Backstage:
Jackie Redmond is with Sami Zayn in the back. She asks about Chad Gable and Bronson Reed and where does it end. Sami says this is a personal issue with him and Chad. It should have been over when he beat Chad in Montreal. Now he has to deal with a professional issue with Bronson Reed. Reed is coming for the title so he has to juggle the emotional and business side. There is only one way this can end. Triple Threat Match at King and Queen of the Ring. When the pressure is on and this championship is on the line in Saudi Arabia, he is at his best. He will walk out as Intercontinental Champion.
WWE Queen of the Ring First-Round Match
Lyra Valkyria vs. Dakota Kai
They lock up and Lyra with a take down. They lock up and Lyra with a side head lock and take down. Lyra misses a cross body and Lyra with a side head lock take down for a near fall. Lyra with a cravate into a side head lock. Lyra floats over and she avoids a kick. Lyra with a kick and Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Lyra sets for a fisherman’s buster but Dakota counters with an inside cradle for a near fall. Dakota sends Lyra into the turnbuckles but runs into a boot. Kai pulls Lyra off the turnbuckles and Lyra lands on the turnbuckles. Kai with a boot to the head while Lyra hangs over the apron.

We are back and Lyra with a series of strikes and a clothesline. Lyra with kicks and a spinning back heel kick. Kai rolls to the floor and Lyra with a drop kick through the ropes. Lyra with a cross body and a fisherman’s suplex for a near fall. Lyra with a cravate and she gets Kai on her shoulders. Kai with elbows to escape and she pulls Lyra to the mat. Kai sends Lyra to the apron and kai with a springboard kick to the back for a near fall. Kai sets for the Yakuza Kick but Lyra moves and Lyra gets a near fall. Lyra with a forearm into the corner and another forearm. Kai with a Yakuza kick for a near fall. Lyra avoids a Detonation Kick but Kai with a scorpion kick. Lyra with Nightwing for the three count.
Winner: Lyra Valkyria (advances to face Zoey Stark)
Kofi Kingston says this was supposed to be where Woods runs it back to become a two time King of the Ring. Gunther took that from Woods. Kofi says he doesn’t know when Woods will be back. He is looking forward to giving Gunther what he deserves. First, he has to get past Rey Mysterio. As much respect as he has for Rey, he will have to put him down and win this tournament for Woods. After all this time and all these years, three words ring now as much as they did then. New Day Rocks.
– Next week, Ilja Dragunov faces Jey Uso. The other men’s quarterfinal match will take place. Lyra Valkyria faces Zoey Stark. Iyo Sky will face the winner of Shayna Baszler and Zelina Vega.
– We see Sheamus getting ready for his match against Gunther.

Gunther vs. Sheamus
They lock up and they go into the corner and against the ropes. The referee separates them for a clean break. They lock up and Gunther backs Sheamus into the corner and Gunther with a chop. Sheamus with a chop and they go back and forth. Sheamus with a belly-to-back suplex and then Gunther with a chop and Sheamus with forearms. Gunther with a side head lock and shoudler tackle and boot when Sheamus bounces off the ropes. Sheamus goes to the apron. Gunther with cross faces to Sheamus on the apron and Sheamus blocks it. They exchange forearms and Sheamus sets for the forearms from the apron. Gunther with elbows and a clothesline to knock Sheamus down on the apron. Gunther sets for a pile driver on the arpon but Sheamus counters with a back body drop. Sheamus with a clothesline off the apron.

We ae back and Sheamus with an Irish whip and Gunther with a kick and chop. Gunther with an elbow to the clavicle and a kick to the back. Gunther with elbows in the ropes. Gunther with a cravate. Sheamus with punches to try to get out of the hold and Gunther with chops and Sheamus wants more. Sheamus with forearms and an Irish whip. Sheamus runs into a boot but Sheamus with a uranage back breaker. Sheamus gets Gunther up and Gunther escapes. Gunther with a Northern Lariat and a clothesline for a near fall. Sheamus blocks a pile driver and Sheamus with an Air Raid Crash for a near fall.
Gunther rolls to the apron and Sheamus grabs Gunther but Gunther drops Sheamus on the top rope. Sheamus with a tilt-a-whirl power slam for a near fall. Sheamus sets for the forearms to Gunther on the apron and he connects with many. Sheamus sets for a Brogue Kick and Gunther avoids it and Gunther sets for a German suplex but Sheamus with an elbow. Sheamus misses a boot and his leg gets caught in the ropes. The referee deals with Gunther and Kaiser pulls Sheamus’ leg into the ropes and then drop kicks the knee. The referee realizes that Kaiser has moved from his spot so the referee sends Kaiser to the back.

We are back and Gunther with a knee bar and he gets a near fall. We see footage from the break of Gunther sending the leg into the ring post. Sheamus escapes and he struggles to get back to his feet. Gunther kicks Sheamus in the knee and he pulls off the knee pad and connects with a knee drop to the injured knee. Gunther with another knee drop to the injured leg. Sheamus blocks a power bomb and Sheamus gets Gunther up for a moment but his knee gives out. Gunther with a kick to the knee and Gunther with a chop to the back of the leg. Sheamus with a clothesline. Sheamus cannot get Gunther up for a Celtic Cross. Sheamus with a jumping knee for a near fall.
Sheamus’ knee gives out and Gunther with a power bomb for a near fall. Gunther with a single leg crab and Sheamus gets to the ropes to force a break. Gunther stomps on the back of the leg and then he goes up top. Sheamus punches Gunther to stop him and Sheamus sets for a Celtic Cross and he hits it. Sheamus gets a near fall. Sheamus with a foearm and Gunther kicks the knee and hits a German suplex. Sheamus wants Gunther to give him more. Sheamus with a running knee and then he hits a Brogue Kick but he cannot make the cover right away so Gunther is able to kick out at two. Gunther with a single leg crab.
Gunther pulls Sheamus into the center of the ring and reapplies the hold. Sheamus taps out.
