The Rotunda Family Honors Bray Wyatt at WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony – At the 2024 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony, the Rotunda family paid tribute to their late son and brother, Windham Rotunda, also known as former WWE Champion Bray Wyatt, who tragically passed away in August 2023. Although Windham was not inducted into the Hall of Fame Class of 2024, his father, Mike Rotunda (also known as I.R.S.), was honored as part of the U.S. Express with Barry Windham.
During the induction ceremony, Windham’s brother, Taylor Rotunda (Bo Dallas), and his sister, Mika Rotunda, took a moment to remember him. They acknowledged Windham’s absence from the stage, expressing that he should have been there with them. They spoke fondly of him, emphasizing his presence despite his physical absence.
“I wish that our son Windham could have been here, he would have liked to see his old man go in the Hall of Fame,” said Mike Rotunda. Also, in a touching gesture, Mike Rotunda invited the audience to join him in illuminating their phones, reminiscent of the light shows that accompanied Bray Wyatt’s entrance. As Bray Wyatt’s theme song played, Mike’s phone lit up, accompanied by many others in the crowd, honoring Windham’s memory in a poignant moment of remembrance.
