Sheamus’ Return Date Revealed – After an absence of eight months, Sheamus is set to make his highly anticipated return to WWE television.
During SmackDown, an advertisement aired revealing that Sheamus will be making his comeback on Raw this upcoming Monday (April 15). This announcement comes on the heels of a vignette that aired earlier in the week on Raw, hinting at Sheamus’s imminent return.
Sheamus’s last in-ring appearance dates back to the August 18, 2023 episode of SmackDown, where he squared off against Edge in what turned out to be Edge’s final WWE match before departing for AEW. His absence from WWE programming was due to a shoulder injury sustained during his time away.
During the weekend, Sheamus made a special appearance at a Premier League Fan Fest event for NBC Sports, where he teased fans with the promise of big things to come in 2024.
Previously, Sheamus was leading The Brawling Brutes faction before his hiatus. However, the group has since disbanded, with Ridge Holland moving to NXT and Butch reverting to his Pete Dunne persona and teaming up with Tyler Bate on SmackDown.
The Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada is hosting Monday’s Raw. The updated lineup for the episode is listed below:
- Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn defends against Chad Gable
- Andrade vs. Dominik Mysterio
- Sheamus returns
- Katana Chance & Kayden Carter vs. Chelsea Green & Piper Niven
