Sheamus Believed His Career Was Finished

Sheamus Believed His Career Was Finished – At 46, Sheamus had his first match in almost eight months on Monday’s Raw. He beat Ivar in singles competition. He’d been out since August because of a really bad shoulder injury.

On Tuesday, Sheamus wrote on social media that he thought his career might be over.

He said: “It’s been a slow, rough, and incredibly painful road back to the ring. Two months ago, I thought I was done with wrestling for good. But thanks to a lot of doctors, trainers, and physios, I got cleared to do what I love… fight.”

Sheamus wore new gear for his return on Monday. After the match, he thanked Venom, the exclusive apparel sponsor of UFC, for making his new trunks. He wrote, “Thanks @venum for the first-ever custom WWE branded ring gear… I wear the WWE brand with pride, and many more should too.”
