News on 2024 King and Queen of the Ring Tournaments – Next month, WWE is set to host a tournament, heralding the return of the iconic King and Queen of The Ring competitions. Last year, plans to revive the tournament in Saudi Arabia were shelved, with WWE opting for the Night of Champions theme instead.
The previous tournament, held in 2021, witnessed Xavier Woods emerging victorious over Finn Balor in the finals to claim the title of King of the Ring. Meanwhile, in the Queen’s Crown Tournament, Zelina Vega secured triumph over Doudrop.
According to Dave Meltzer speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, the upcoming tournaments are scheduled to unfold at the May 25th WWE PLE event in Saudi Arabia, although an official announcement is yet to be made.
“By the way, the next pay-per-view is going to be King and Queen of The Ring, which is the Saudi show on May 25. I don’t know if that’s the next one. But the Saudi show, they may have one. I don’t even have that schedule in front of me, but May 25. That’s what that’s going to be.”
