4/08 WWE RAW Results – We are live from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for the highly-anticipated Raw After WrestleMania episode! Triple H’s music hits as he gets out of the stage and makes his way to the ring for the start of a new era.
The crowd chants “Thank You Hunter” and Hunter says he came out to thank the fans because they made something special happen. He says he can say that was the greatest Wrestlemania of all time. By every metric and standard and everything you have said, this was the biggest Wrestlemania ever. He says he came out to say thank you. He had the privilege to welcome everyone to Wrestlemania over the weekend. Now he gets to welcome everyone to Raw. He said on Saturday, welcome to a new time and a new era.. Hunter introduces the man who will take things into the new era… Cody Rhodes.
Hunter and Cody shake hands.
Hunter tells Cody congratulations and he thanks Cody for bringing an end to one of the greatest title reigns, headline the greatest Wrestlemania, and on your first night as champion to set a gate and attendance record. He says he got a call a few hours after Wrestlemania ended from the studio. They told Hunter they made something special for Cody and they asked if they can share it with Cody. Hunter says he will show it to everyone. Hunter talks about how there isn’t a normal tron so they had to use a monitor.
A very touching video airs.
After the video ends, Cody and Hunter hug.
Cody puts the title belt down on the mat and he kisses it.
Cody asks Raw after Wrestlemania and Philadelphia, what do you want to talk about?
Cody says he felt that he knew what he wanted to talk about. This whole business. Something he heard. He tells Samantha she knows what he is going to ask her to do and he asks her to do it once more.
Cody says it was two years ago, the Raw after Wrestlemania and he laid out his goals and dreams. Last night, that dream became a reality. He says he has been told that the altitude in Philadelphia is 39 feet above sea level. He says the air is thin in here because they are standing on top of the mountain. He says the champion previously on the top of the mountain, the Head of the Table… Roman Reigns. One Thousand Three Hundred Sixteen days. We don’t have to like him, but he acknowledges what he has done. Perhaps he is the most important superstar of this generation. Cody says he was the man destined to defeat him.
Cody says people ask you ‘why’ when you enter the business. Cody asks them to show his main why.
We see a video of Cody’s daughter saying for papa to finish the story.
He says that is his Libby Curls. He wants her to know that when papa goes to work, he doesn’t just go to work, he goes to work in the main event. When papa is fighting, he is not fighting as a challenger, but as champion. He says this is a unique predicament. He used to stand in the line, but now the line is for him. Cody says his name is Cody Rhodes, once undesireable become undeniable. Now… Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
The Rock’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
Rock looks at Cody and he says he says he is a lot of things, but sucks isn’t one of them.
Rock says before we begin, he came out here to deliver flowers to Cody. He also wanted to say that Philadelphia broke another record for the largest gathering of trailer park trash. Rock tells them to chant it now and he calls everyone pieces of trash.
Cody shows his title belt and then the Rock shows his People’s champion belt and the crowd gives different reactions.
He says he did not come out here to fight. He tells Cody that he did it. They can chant what they want but this is between the two of them. You completed your story and you beat the odds and beat Roman Reigns in the ring, one… two… three. Rock says he made Cody bleed, got his blood on his hands, ripped your clothes. Rock says he made a special belt and whipped him like a boy. He put a special name on the belt for Mama Rhodes. She was so happy those last two nights. She had a huge smile on her face and she is proud of her boy like she should be. Someone else had a big smile, your daddy in heaven.
Rock says Dusty was his hero. As you know, his dad and Cody’s dads were good friends. He doesn’t know if his dad is proud of what he did to Cody, but he doesn’t care. Rock says he did it and he finished his story. You have a brand new belt. That is beautiful with the new name plate on it. Rock says his belt isn’t fake, it was given to him by Muhammad Ali’s widow. Rock mentions Ali allowing him to be called The People’s Champion.
Rock asks Cody if there is a way he can hold that title.
No fireworks tonight. No harm. He grew up in pro wrestling and he loves titles. He has held most of them, but not this one.
Cody looks around and he asks Rock if he wants to hold this one and Rock says he does. Cody says he can hold it for a moment . . .as long as he can hold Rock’s. Rock says of course and they both hold out their belts for the other.
Rock says this feels right. He thanks Cody and hands the title back. Cody gives Rock his title belt back. Rock says that means a lot. He tells Cody that he has to go away for a little while. Rock says he doesn’t want to leave and he loves pro wrestling. They made it cool again.
The crowd serenades Rock.
Rock says when he comes back and whether Cody is champion or not, he is coming back for Cody.
Cody says he is looking forward to it.
Rock says he is looking forward to it too. He says Cody beat Roman in the middle of the ring, one, two, three. Rock reminds Cody that he beat Cody the night before. Rock says Cody’s story with Roman is over and you did it. Our story has just begun.
Cody says he believes that because you are the boss, the Final Boss. You are on the board so you are his literal boss. Cody says he doesn’t dispute that and Rock won’t dispute the fact that he is the champion and he is their champion. Cody tells his boss that means he is his champion.
Rock says Cody is their champion and the World Champion. You are his champion… Cody, there is one thing before he rides off into the sunset. He says he has something to give Cody. No fireworks. Rock reaches into his pocket and he gives Cody something and shakes Cody’s hand. Rock says Cody doesn’t have to open his hand to know what this is. He tells Cody never to break his heart again. If you smell what the final boss is cooking.

– Cole informs us on commentary that the 2024 WWE Draft will take place on the April 26 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, as well as the April 29 episode of Monday Night Raw. Dragunov will be among those drafted this year.
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov
Nakamura with a kick but Ilja with a forearm. Nakamura fires back. Nakamura with knees. Nakamura with kicks but Ilja with a knee and a running knee into the corner. Ilja with a knee drop off the turnbuckles. Ilja with a German suplex and he holds on and hits a second one. Nakamura blocks a third German suplex and he applies a wrist lock. Ilja with Konstantin Special and he goes up top and misses a back senton when Nakamura moves. Nakamura runs into boots but Nakamura puts Ilja in the ropes and hits a sliding German suplex. Nakamura with a knee off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Nakamura sets for Kinshasa but Ilja moves and hits a German suplex. Nakamura with a kick to the back of the head for a near fall.
Nakamura with a reverse chin lock. Ilja with a knee and chop. Nakamura with a back body drop and a running knee. Ilja with a jumping kick to the head followed by a power bomb. Ilja with H Bomb. Ilja sets for Torpedo Moscow and he hits it and gets the three count.

THE Judgment Day are already in the ring represented by JD, Finn, and Dom.
Finn says to all of the haters and doubters and everyone who thought Rhea couldn’t beat Becky and everyone who didn’t think Damian could cash in and become champion. You were all wrong, and Finn chuckles.
Dom holds the mic to his face and people boo. Dom mentions that Rhea is still the Women’s Champion.
Rhea makes her way to the ring. Rhea hugs JD, Finn, and Dom in the ring.
Rhea says Wrestlemania was almost perfect. They have a couple new problems to deal with. Two things came out of this weekend. One, Mami is always on top. Two, this is a new era for THE Judgment Day.
Finn introduces your new World Champion, Damian Priest.
The crowd shows their approval for Priest’s victory last night.
Priest says he does deserve it. The terror twins stand before you as the World Champions. It goes without saying that they always rise to the occasion. The whole world needs to follow suit and rise for THE Judgment Day.
R Truth enters the ring and holds up his title belt with Rhea and Priest. Priest tells Truth to get out. Truth says he is here to celebrate. He says he brought the tag titles back to THE Judgment Day. Truth wants to change subjects. He knows there are issues with membership in the group but he is only half of the tag team champions.
Miz makes his way to the ring. He says he doesn’t want to be in THE Judgment Day and he knows Truth doesn’t want to be in that group. Priest says he isn’t in THE Judgment Day and Truth says he is. If you are introducing new champions, Miz wants to introduce the new Raw Tag Team Champions.
Finn asks Miz if he thinks he is funny. Finn says it is funny that they will have the shortest reign in history. If you are going to spoil their celebration, put those titles on the line, right here… right now.
Truth says that is fun, but they can’t. There are only three of them. Finn wants to know what Truth means and Miz does too. Miz wants to make sure that Truth is talking about a real person. Truth says they can have a six man tag team match against him, the Miz, and the guy you can’t see. JD wants to confirm that Truth is suggesting and JD says they are on.
Miz says he wants to see their partner. Dom, JD and Finn attack Truth and Miz and send him to the floor.

Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and Dominik Mysterio vs. R Truth, Miz, and ?
The match starts as a handicap match and Dom with two suplexes to Truth and he sets for the third amigo but Truth with punches. Dom with a knee and he tags in JD. JD with kicks and an elbow drop. Truth goes to the apron and then JD chokes Truth in the ropes. JD with a knee to Truth and a reverse chin lock. Truth reaches for the tag nad JD pulls Truth to the mat. Dom tags in and he kicks Truth and gets a near fall. Dom with an Irish whip and he misses a splash when Truth moves. Miz tags in and he hits a springboard cross body and he punches JD off the apron. Miz with kicks to Dom in the corner. Miz with an Awesome Clothesline and he goes to the apron and kicks JD. Miz with a rollup for a near fall. Miz iwth a kick and a double DDT to Dom and JD. Miz gets a near fall on Dom.
Miz sets for the Skull Crushing Finale and Dom with a snap mare to counter. Miz with a back elbow and Finn with a clothesline when the referee deals with Miz. JD sends Miz into the ringside barrier. Truth goes over to check on Miz but Dom gets there first and he sends iz back into the ring. Dom kicks Miz and tags in JD who kicks Miz and chokes him in the corner. Finn tags in and Miz punches Finn and Finn with shoulders in the corner. JD trips Miz and tags in and hits a slingshot twisting splash. Dom kicks Miz and then Finn hits a slingshot stomp for a near fall. Finn chokes Miz in the ropes. Dom kicks Miz when Finn distracts the referee.
Finn tries to suplex Miz back into the ring but Miz blocks it and Miz with a slingshot sunset flip but you don’t sunset flip Finn and he rolls through and hits a double stomp. Finn with an elbow to the head. Finn sends Miz into the corner and he tags Dom back in. Dom with a suplex and he holds on and rolls through for a second one. Dom sets for the third Amigo and he shimmies and completes the sequence for a near fall. Finn tags in and punches Miz. Finn with a reverse chin lock.
Finn with an arm bar and he keeps Miz from making the tag. Miz with a kick and both men with clotheslines and they go down. JD tags in and he keeps Miz from making the tag. Miz kicks JD away and Dom pulls Truth off the apron and sends him into the ring steps. JD with an uppercut and punches to Miz and Truth is down by the ring steps. JD poses and so do Finn and Dom.
John Cena’s music plays and it appears that he might be the person Truth was talking about.
Cena does the Warrior run on the apron and he wants the tag. Miz rolls past JD and Cena tags in and he hits two shoulder tackles to JD followed by a Blue Thunder Bomb. Truth with a Blue Thunder Bomb to Finn. Miz gives Dom a Blue Thunder Bomb. Cena gets Miz and Truth to join for stereo Five Knuckle Shuffle. They get them up for Attitude Adjustments and a Triple pin.
Winners: R Truth, Miz, and John Cena
– We see highlights from the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
Backstage:
Bronson Reed says when he steps into the ring, he doesn’t do it just to win. He does it to break his opponents. Tonight, Drew, Jey, and Ricochet will learn a lesson in raw dominance. He will show who the true heavyweight champion should be.

Backstage:
Dom tells Rhea he didn’t think Cena would show up. Rhea says Dom trusted Andrade and he cost them. Dom goes to talk to Adam Pearce. Rhea Ripley is attacked from behind and we see that it is Liv Morgan.
Indi Hartwell vs. Roxanne Perez
Perez slaps Indi and applies a sleeper on Indi’s back. Indi backs Perez into the turnbuckles but she holds on. Indi with a snap mare and shoulder tackle but she misses an elbow drop. Perez punches Indi and Indi pushes Perez away. Perez with a side Russian leg sweep and she gets a near fall. Perez with kicks to the hamstring and a spinning toe hold. Indi sends Roxanne face first to the mat. Indi with clotheslines and forearms and punches to Perez. Indi misses a clothesline in the corner and Perez with a running uppercut. Candice trips Perez and Indi wants to know why Candice did that.
The referee tells Indi to focus on Perez. Perez with a rake of the eyes followed by a kick to the midsection and Pop Rox for the three count.

Sami Zayn makes his way to the ring.
Sami says the fans telling him he deserves it means a lot to him. He says he has done some historic things at Wrestlemania in the past and he thinks he did something historic this year. The man who made history was Gunther. You can’t take 666 days as champion from Gunther. He is the best Intercontinental Champion of all time. Sami says he beat him. Sami says he can’t take all of the credit for the win. He got a lot of help from each and every one of you. There were times he didn’t believe in himself but you were there. Seeing his wife and son at the curtain meant a lot to him. Seeing Kevin Owens fire him up helped him. He says there is one other guy who helped him out.
Imperium’s music plays and Kaiser and Vinci come out.
Kaiser says for the past two years, the Ring General put all of his heart and dedication and hard work into making the Intercontinental championship the most prestigious in the WWE. Kaiser says it breaks his heart to see somebody like you holding that title right now. You look like all of these peasants in Philadelphia. Kaiser says your new Intercontinental Champiion looks like a bum. Kaiser says on behalf of Gunther, they are here to make this right.
They circle the ring and they get on the apron.
Chad Gable’s music plays and it freezed Kaiser and Vinci. Chad runs to the ring to stand by Sami’s side.

Chad Gable and Sami Zayn vs. Imperium’s Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser
VInci with a wrist lock to Chad and Chad with a chop. Chad with a bridge and reversal into a drop toe hold and arm bar. Vinci with a chop and he goes for a slam but Chad escapes and he tries for Chaos Theory but Vinci blocks it and gets a near fall. Chad with a cross body and arm drag into an arm bar. Chad floats over and Vinci with a cross body after Chad runs under a clothesline. Vinci with a European uppercut and Kaiser tags in. Kaiser sends Chad into the corner and Kaiser blocks a kick and connects with the Nein punch. Kaiser with forearms to the back of the head and a springboard boot to the back. Chad with a slam and Sami tags in. Sami with a double sledge to the ribs off the turnbuckles. Sami with an elbow off the turnbuckles. Sami with a chop after blocking a kick. Kaiser backs Sami into the corner and Vinci tags in.
Vinci with kicks and a European uppercut. Sami with punches to Vinci and Kaiser. Vinci with a side head lock and Kaiser tags in before Sami sends Vinci to the floor. Sami sends Kaiser to the floor. Chad tags in and hits a cross body off the turnbuckles. Chad with a cross body to VInci for a near fall. Sami tags in and Sami goes for a Blue Thunder Bomb but VInci with a side head lock. Kaiser with a forearm to the back of the head when the referee deals with Vinci. Kaiser tags in and they hit the double drop kick combination. Kaiser with a kick to the chest and punches. Sami punches back and Kaiser with a drop toe hold and a rear chin lock. Kaiser with an elbow to the nose.
Vinci tags in and he kicks Sami. Vinci with a snap mare and reverse chin lock into a sleeper. Sami with punches but Vinci with a slam and he knocks Chad off the apron. Vinci with a kick to the chest. Vinci chokes Sami in the ropes. Kaiser with a punch when the referee deals with Vinci. Vinci gets a near fall. Vinci with a front face lock and Kaiser tags in and punches Sami in the ribs. Kaiser with a sleeper. Kaiser gets on Sami’s back but Sami tries to get to his corner. Sami with a Blue Thunder Bomb and both men are down. Vinci tags in and so does Gable. Chad with foerarms, knees, and European uppercuts. Chad with a back heel kick and a swinging neck breaker. Chad with a reverse atomic drop and exploder to Kaiser. Chad with an exploder to Vinci. Chad with a Mick Foley cross body over the top rope and then Chad with a cannonball to Kaiser on the floor. Chad goes up top and hits a diving head butt on Vinci for a near fall.
Chad goes up top and he misses a monsault but lands on his feet. VInci goes for a brainbuster but Chad escapes. Kaiser tags in and Vinci with a belly-to-back suplex. They set for Imperium Bomb for a near fall when Sami breaks up the cover. Vinci tags in and they set for an Imperium Bom but Chad with a back drop to VInci and a German suplex to Kaiser. Chad goes for a German suplex on VInci but Kaiser holds on. Sami comes in and they hit stereo Three Rivers German suplex combinations.
Sami tags in and he goes for an ankle lock on Vinci. Kaiser pulls Chad off the apron and Kaiser with a flying boot to Sami. Chad hits Kaiser from behind and punches him. Kaiser sends Chad to the floor and Sami clotheslines Kaiser over the top rope. Sami blocks a clothesline and hits an exploder into the turnbuckles on Vinci. Sami sets for the Helluva kick but he tags in Chad. Sami with a Helluva Kick and Chad with Chaos Theory for the three count.
Winners: Sami Zayn and Chad Gable
– Jey Uso is in the back and he says Wrestlemania was personal. He went toe to toe with his brother. Tonight he faces three men to become the number one contender.
– Ricochet is in his locker room preparing for the main event.
Backstage:
We see Andrade with Adam Pearce, Ava, and Nick Aldis. Nick says Adam did a great job to acquire Andrade.
They talk about the draft and Ava says they will keep it civil tonight. Nick says they are putting problems aside for the betterment of the brand.
Chelsea Green enters and she says they did an injustice keeping her out of Wrestlemania. She will contact top brass. Adam says they saw the emails and DMs. Nick says they have a special match for Chelsea. Chelsea says she is ready to have her moment. Adam tells Chelsea to go to the ring for her moment.

Green says this is her moment and she did not agree to this. Jade with a bicycle kick and Jaded for the three count.

Sami Zayn walks in the back and he walks up to Alpha Academy. Sami says he wants to talk to Chad. Sami says he appreciates the help. Sami says Chad wanted a favor and he says after that match they are even. Chad says when he asked for a favor… Sami stops Chad and he says he is kidding. He says Chad deserves a title match and he would be honored to defend it against Chad next week in Montreal. Chad says he can’t wait and they shake hands.
In the Arena:
Drew Mcintyre storms to the ring before our main event and he has something to say.
He says what happened last night was complete and utter BS. Five minutes and forty-six seconds. That is how long his moment lasted. Do you think that is funny? That is five minutes longer than you last in bed. He says he might not like Seth Rollins, he respects him. You went out on your shield and you fought like a warrior. Then that Bondage Undertaker Damian Priest ruined it. Money in the Bank is a freaking joke. He says it cost him twice. It cheapened everything that him and Seth did. You are a transitional champion. After tonight, the title is his. The one who caused that finish was that prick CM Punk.
He says he told Punk what he was going to do. He said he would win that title, have his moment with his family, and rub it in your face. I was within striking distance from you and I said what I had to and you did nothing. You are a coward. The second he took his eyes off you, you swept his leg and hit him with your brace. You are going to go into hiding. Drew says he is coming for your weakest part.
While Jey Uso makes his way to the ring, Drew throws his mic and Pat and then gets a chair and throws it at the ring steps.

Drew McIntyre vs. Ricochet vs. Bronson Reed vs. Jey Uso in a Number One Contender Elimination Match
Drew and Jey pair off while Reed and Ricochet go at it and Reed with a head butt. Reed with a belly-to-belly suplex to Drew and then he clotheslines Jey to the floor. Ricochet with a springboard flip dive onto Drew, Reed, and Jey. Ricochet punches Jey and Drew. Drew rakes the eyes and sends Ricochet into the ringside barrier. Drew puts Ricochet’s shirt over his head and he chops Ricochet against the apron. Jey punches Reed and Drew hot shots Ricochet onto the announce table. Drew gets Ricochet up to send him into the ring post but Ricochet escapes and sends Drew into the ring post. Back in the ring, Reed stands on Jey’s throat. Reed with shoulders in the corner while a table is sent into the ring. Drew sends Ricochet into the ring.
Reed stomps on Jey’s injured ribs. Drew with a chop to Ricochet. Reed with an Irish whip to Jey but Reed misses a shoulder and hits the ring post. Ricochet counters a suplex and hits a jumping knee on Drew. Drew with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Drew puts the table in the corner. Drew gets Ricochet up and sets to lawn dart him through the table but Ricochet escapes. Derw with a power bomb for a near fall. Jey sends Drew over the top rope to the floor. Reed with a running body block. Reed with an elbow drop. Reed with a head butt to Jey. Reed sets for a running hip to Jey in the corner. Reed with a forearm to Ricochet. Reed sets for a power bomb through the table to Jey but Jey gets to his feet and he hits a super kick. Reed blocks a spear. Reed gets Jey up and he knocks RIcochet off the apron. Reed with a running power slam through the table.

Reed poses instead of trying to win the match. Reed kicks Jey to the floor. Ricochet with a kick to Reed and a springboard drop kick. Ricochet with a running forearm into the corner and a second one. Ricochet goes for a third one but Reed catches him and hits a uranage. Reed with a head butt to Ricochet. Ricochet kicks Reed and then Reed pulls Ricochet off the ropes and sends him to the mat. Reed works on the neck. Ricochet with punches and Reed with a forearm. Ricochet sends Reed to the floor. Ricochet with a thrust kick to knock Drew off the apron. Ricochet with a double sledge off the apro to Drew. Drew with a punch and he chops Ricochet. Ricochet with a chop and the exchange continues. Drew hot shots Ricochet and chops him again.
Drew sends Ricochet into the crowd. Drew sends Ricochet back into the ring and Ricochet drops Drew throat first on the top rope. Reed grabs Ricochet and Ricochet with punches. Reed catches Ricochet on a handspring move but Ricochet with elbows and an enzuigiri. Ricochet with a kick to Drew and an enzuigiri. Ricochet with a forearm to Drew and then one to Reed. Drew catches Ricochet and hits an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Reed biels Ricochet over Drew and Ricochet rolls to the floor. Drew and Reed go face to chin and Drew with a forearm. Reed fires back and they continue with the exchange. They move on to chops. Reed with a splash in the corner and an Irish whip but Drew avoids a splash and hits a Michinoku Driver for a near fall.
Jey with a super kick to Drew and then Ricochet and Jey do a double super kick. Reed joins in for a triple super kick. Jey and Ricochet with double super kicks to Reed. Ricochet with a kick to Jey. Jey with a spear to Reed for a near fall. Drew puts Jey on the turnbuckles and chops Jey. Drew sets for a superplex and Jey blocks it. Jey with punches and he crotches Drew after a head butt. Drew is put in the tree of woe and Ricochet leaps to the turnbuckles. Jey knocks Ricochet off the turnbuckles. Drew reaches up and hits a German suplex. Ricochet with a drop kick to Drew. Reed with a buckle bomb and power bomb to Ricochet for a near fall. Reed with a back senton and he goes up top for Tsumani but Drew pulls Reed off. Reed kicks Drew to the floor and Reed with a shoulder tackle off the apron. Reed adjusts the announce table.
Drew with a head butt to Reed and he sends Reed into the ring post. Drew with a knee to Reed and Reed goes to the announce table. Jey with a suicide dive to Drew. Jey goes up top and Ricochet with an enzuigiri to knock Jey off the turnbuckles. Ricochet looks around and he sees Reed on the announce table. Ricochet with a springboard 450 splash to Reed through the table. Jey with punches to Drew and Drew with a kick and Future Shock. Drew sets for the Claymore and Punk grabs Drew on the Claymore. Jey with a jumping thrust kick and spear. Jey with a frog splash for the three count.
