WWE SmackDown Possibly Moving to FS1 in the Fall – The future of WWE SmackDown is potentially undergoing a significant change, as Fox Sports announced today that Fox will begin airing college football games on Friday nights starting this fall.
This shift in programming means that WWE SmackDown will be moving stations and may potentially end up on FS1 as early as September. SmackDown has previously made temporary moves to FS1 due to conflicts with the MLB Playoffs and the World Series.
However, WWE fans need not worry, as SmackDown’s stint on FS1 may be short-lived. The blue brand is expected to return to its original home on the USA Network starting in October, following the conclusion of the college football season.
