Ronda Rousey Told Triple H: 'I Can't Stand Mediocrity'

Ronda Rousey Told Triple H: ‘I Can’t Stand Mediocrity’ – Ronda Rousey remains in the spotlight as she continues to promote her forthcoming autobiography. However, her recent media appearances have also brought her past comments about WWE back into focus.

In recent interviews, Rousey hasn’t held back in expressing her frustration with WWE, particularly during her second stint with the company before her departure last year. She didn’t mince words when discussing her concerns with Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and Bruce Prichard, key figures in the organization.

During a conversation with Rick Ucchino of Cageside Seats, Rousey revealed details about a significant meeting she had with Triple H before her departure. She expressed her discontent with what she perceived as a tolerance for mediocrity within WWE at the time.

“I had a long sit down with Triple H and I was like, ‘I can’t be associated with mediocrity.’ That’s what they seemed to be happy with at the time. I hope that is different now, but I can’t say… that I’ve ever experienced it any other way,” Rousey candidly stated.

Despite her frustrations, Rousey did acknowledge Triple H’s positive influence, particularly in his support for women’s wrestling. She credited him for believing in the female talent and being instrumental in her own journey within WWE.

“I wish my entire run had been under Triple H’s creative leadership, not just a few months,” Rousey expressed, indicating her appreciation for Triple H’s approach to women’s wrestling within the company.
