Mercedes Mone Responds To Giulia – In an interview with Tokyo Sports, reigning NJPW Strong Women’s Champion Giulia said she’s felt she has needed to defend her title against Mercedes Mone.
Giulia won the title from Willow Nightingale in July 2023 just over a month after Willow defeated Mercedes Mone in the tournament final for the vacant title. Mone hasn’t wrestled since May 21, 2023 when she suffered an ankle injury against Willow at NJPW STRONG Resurgence 2023.
Taking to social media, Mone responded to Giulia.
Mone will reportedly make her AEW debut on March 13 at AEW Dynamite Big Business.
Giulia will defend her title against Stephanie Vaquer on March 10. She will reportedly leave STARDOM at the end of March.
