Jade Cargill: I Left AEW In A Loving And Professional Manner – In September 2023, Jade Cargill left AEW, as her contract with the promotion expired. Only days later, WWE signed Cargill to a multi-year deal with the promotion. Since then, Cargill has only wrestled once, as she made her in-ring debut in the Women’s Royal Rumble match.
While speaking to Fightful for a new interview, Cargill said that leaving AEW was a business decision before also stating that everybody was elated for her.
“It’s all business, it’s all business. I left in a very loving, professional manner. I did what I had to do. Everybody was very elated for me, whether they figured something out or not. They were elated for me, they were happy for me. No ill feelings towards in any manner.”
Sean Ross Sapp brought up the fact that many people in AEW told him that the door is always open for Cargill to return if she ever wants to do that. In response, Cargill noted that she has friends in both promotions and that she just wants to see everybody excel and make money.
“Yes, it did. At the end of the day, these are my friends. Like, I have friends here, I have friends over there. I just want to see everybody excel and make money. Like, we all want to make money and create a name for ourselves and help out the next generation of wrestlers that want to adopt this sport.”
