Best WrestleMania Moments in History – WrestleMania is the biggest event on the wrestling calendar. Since it was inaugurated in 1985, it has been known as “The Grandest Stage of Them All”.

Ahead of WrestleMania XL, here is a look at some of the best moments in the history of the event.

The Rock Beats John Cena – WrestleMania XXVIII

Two legends of the WWE collided at WrestleMania XXVIII when The Rock faced John Cena. The former made his return to the ring for this event in Florida. Such was the interest, it ended up being the highest-grossing PPV in WWE history.

After just over 20 minutes of action, Cena attempted to do a People’s Elbow on The Rock, but he ran into a ‘Rock Bottom’, which was enough for the “People’s Champion” to seal the victory in the “Clash of Generations”.

The Rock has lit up WrestleMania on many occasions and he could be set to feature again at WrestleMania XL. A full list of the confirmed matches can be found in the Ontario sports betting along with the odds on each contest with sportsbooks such as Sports Interaction and Pinnacle. This main event was highly anticipated as it was at the start of the Vince McMahon-Austin feud. Mike Tyson was added as the special guest referee, and he was involved in an iconic moment when he floored Michaels with a punch following the match.

He had beaten the likes of Triple H, Ric Flair, Kane, Randy Orton, and CM Punk. Unfortunately for the Undertaker, it came to an end at WrestleMania XXX when he lost to Brock Lesnar.

An F-5 from Lesnar was enough to win the match and after his pinfall, the crowd in Louisiana was stunned. “Taker” got a standing ovation as he left the arena following the defeat which brought the Hall of Fame wrestler’s record at the event to 21-1.

Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey, and Charlotte Flair Headline WrestleMania 35

WrestleMania 35 was a huge occasion for women’s wrestling, as it was the first time in WrestleMania history that the main event was a women’s match. Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey, and Charlotte Flair competed for the Raw and Smackdown titles.

This triple-threat match involved three huge names on the women’s roster. They put on a great match and showcased why they deserved their spot in the main event at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
