3/25 WWE RAW Results – We see CM Punk walk through the parking lot. We then take a look back at Smackdown’s ‘one on one’ face off between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.
We are live from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL, as Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring.
Cody asks Chicago what do they want to talk about. Cody says he could say nothing and you get it. We are in the awkward, final two weeks when the time to talk is over and it is time for action. Cody says before Smackdown, Roman Reigns said a lot, particularly on the Pat McAfee show. Cody returns to Roman and the crowd boos. He says Roman called him a politician and he did the same on Smackdown and said that Cody made promises he couldn’t keep. Cody says Chicago knows that when he makes a promise, he keeps it. There have been some unique asks. Someone had a sign asking if he can be their best man at their wedding. Cody does a hypothetical conversation with Brandi about going to the wedding and paying for the bachelor party. He talks about going to a fan’s fifth birthday. Cody says he does this asking for nothing back.
Roman says this is desperation but that is not the case. He dresses the way he dresses and he talks the way he talks and acts like the champion because the champion is not here. Cody says he has said positive things about Roman, but he knows that Roman screwed him out of the biggest dream in his life. He might respect Roman, but he hates his guts. Cody says he understands if Roman hates him because you and your cousin can’t have your wankfest at Wrestlemania. Cody says he has won the Royal Rumble two times. Cody knows that, after pointing at that sign, he can’t do it alone. He says he asked for nothing back but he wants to ask for something back.
On April 6th, he asks if the fans will ride with him in their tag match. On April 7th, in what could be a fair fight, will you fight with him? Cody says he wants a moment with them. Cody says if he is going to point at that sign, he wants everyone else to point at that sign.
Cody says pointing at that sign means what he said. Two main events…
The Rock’s music interrupts and he makes his way to the ring.
His music dies down and loud “Rocky! Rocky!” chants pick up.
He stands there without moving staring down Cody from a few feet away while wearing dark sunglasses. Cody and Rock, from a distance, do a similar reaction to the crowd energy that The Rock and Hulk Hogan did for their classic rivalry heading into their memorable WrestleMania showdown. The fans break out in a thunderous “Holy sh*t! Holy sh*t!” chant.
Rock spends quite a while letting this moment simmer. The fans start up a loud “This is Awesome!” chant now, again, before Rock or Cody says a word or even moves a muscle. It looks like they waited a bit too long, as the Chicago crowd breaks out in a loud chant for their own favorite son, “CM Punk! CM Punk!” The Rock finally starts to slowly walk closer to Cody.
Cody takes a step forward to meet The Rock half-way. The Rock backs up and smiles real big.
Rock whispers something to Cody. He takes a moment and then slowly turns and exits the ring as fans loudly start booing. The Rock heads down the ring steps and slowly walks up the entrance aisle. He stops and turns as fans loudly start chanting “Rocky sucks! Rocky sucks!”
Talk about a 180-degree crowd reaction. The Rock continues walking to the back and passes through the curtain without ever saying a word or doing anything. Cody looks around at the crowd and Rock’s music dies down and Cody’s begins playing.
– We see Ricochet jumping rope in the back as we go to commercial.
Backstage:
We go to Jackie Redmond and Rock walks past her and she stops him. Jackie asks Rock what did he say to Cody Rhodes. Rock tells Jackie to ask Cody and he walks away.
Backstage:
We go to THE Judgment Day CLUBHOUSE and they are playing darts. Rhea says she would have loved to have joined in and communication is key. Priest tells JD to take care of Ricochet the way he can. Finn says he is sick of JD and Dom made to look like fools. Priest says he has a plan to have the advantage for Wrestlemania. JD says he has it under control. Rhea tells him to win. JD and Dom go to the ring for JD’s match.
Ricochet vs. JD McDonagh
They lock up and JD with a clean break and Ricochet looks over his shoulder at Dom and that allows JD to hit him from behind. JD with a back elbow. Ricochet lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex and he hits a handstandcanrana followed by a drop kick to send JD to the floor. Dom pushes JD out of the way and Ricochet does the handspring into a superhero landing and then he hits a Fosbury flop on JD.
We go to commercial.
We are back and JD chops Ricochet in the corner. Ricochet with forearms. JD with a knee to the midsection and he applies a waist lock. Ricochet with back elbows to try to get out of the hold and Ricochet gets to the ropes. Ricochet with back elbows. JD with a uranage but he misses the moonsault. Ricochet with a handspring back elbow. Ricochet blocks a punch and he connects with forearms. Ricochet is sent to the apron but Ricochet with a shoudler and a springboard clothesline. Ricochet with a shooting star press for a near fall. Ricochet gets JD on his shoulders but JD blocks a Detonation Kick. JD with Spanish Fly for a near fall.
JD with a brainbuster for a near fall. JD puts Ricochet on the turnbuckles and he chops Ricochet. Ricochet with forearms and he sets for a Super Poisonrana and hits it. Ricochet with Recoil but Dom puts JD’s foot on the ropes, even though it was under the ropes already. JD gets his knees up when Ricochet goes for a springboard 450 and JD gets a near fall.
We go to commercial.
We are back and they exchange punches and kicks. JD with a clothesline and a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Ricochet kicks JD and he counters Devil Inside with a Destroyer. Ricochet goes up top and Dom gets on the apron. The referee has some words for Dom and Dom hits the top rope when he goes to the floor and it crotches Ricochet. The referee sends Dom to the back . JD goes up top and Ricochet knocks JD off the turnbuckles. Ricochet hits a shooting star cross body for the three count.
Winner: Ricochet
– CM Punk walks in the back with a Cubs Legacy Title belt.
We go to commercial.
– We are back and we see Jey Uso walking down the ramp in the garage earlier today.
In the Arena:
CM Punk makes his way to the ring.
Punk gets on the announce table before returning to the ring.
Punk says he has a lot to say but he asks does it feel good to be alive in Chicago on a Monday night. He says everybody is asking him if he will be at Wrestlemania and the short answer is yes. He says people are asking him about his elbow. Punk says he is not medically cleared but he says his mouth is fine. He says people are asking him what will he do at Wrestlemania and they have ideas. Will he host Wresltemania? Ten years ago, he would have thought that it was beneath him but he just wants to be there. He suggests Chicago host a Wrestlemania. What about commentary or being a referee. Is there a match for an impartial referee?
People talk about him and they might not love him, but they need him. Punk addresses Pat about having Roman on his show and he wonders why would Roman mention him. Punk says him coming back and climbing up the mountain while Roman is going down the mountain, they might see each other soon. Punk mentions Seth Rollins. He says they go way back and they don’t see eye to eye because Seth wears high heels and is taller. Seth talks about Punk’s injury and he says it is funny that a man with two bad knees would talk about him.
Punk says the Rock hasn’t talked about him. Maybe ten years ago, Rock remembers ten years ago when Rock’s arms were too short to box with God. Punk mentions Drew McIntyre. Punk says he doesn’t live on the internet and he handles things live and in living color. In Chicago, you handle things like a man.
Drew’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
Punk tells them to shut off Drew’s stupid song. He says he isn’t looking for a match so he tells Drew to get his bitch ass in the ring.
Drew says he would love to beat Punk’s arse in the ring, but do you remember what happened the last time they were in the ring together. Drew talks about stomping on his arm and how he prayed for this.
Punk asks Drew if he is a psychopath or a troll.
Drew says this is divine intervention. Drew mentions his shirt. Punk says he never had to put someone on a shirt.
Drew says this straight edge thing is a thing. You don’t drink or do drugs, but you spend a lot of time in rehab. Drew says he might have hated Punk in the past but Drew says Punk completes him.
Punk tells the crowd to boo Drew.
Drew says when he tries to go that last rep with a weight that Punk couldn’t lift in his prime and he thinks about the Royal Rumble and he finishes the rep.
Punk tells Drew to get in the ring.
Drew says he would love to but he figures Punk has a weapon with him so he won’t make it to Wrestlemania. Drew sits on the announce table. Drew tells Punk he wants him at Wrestlemania with a front row seat because you think you should be where he is. Drew says everyone will know that he is the Chosen One.
Punk asks Drew who chose him and he asks Drew what paragon of virtue chose you. It wasn’t the people of Chicago or San Antonio as Punk coaxes the crowd to chant for him.
Drew tells Punk this is his moment and he feels like a fan sitting here. Drew tells Punk is good at talking so why not be the guest commentator to see Drew have his moment and have his hand raised as champion in a building in front of live people.
Seth Rollins’ music plays and Punk shows his excitement over his appearance.
Seth welcomes everyone to the show. He says now that they have established whose show it is, it has been, and is going to be . . . If you two children . . .
Punk says this could be your show but Punk says it is his city.
Seth says he knows it is an away game for him. If you two morons had a brain cell among you, you don’t make the decisions about the title match when you are not in it, as he turns to Punk. Seth says since you seem to want to take everybody’s opinion but the champ, why not take a poll of the entire city of Chicago. Seth asks if Punk should be on commentary and they respond.
Punk says he probably couldn’t be objectively fair with these to d***s in the ring.
Seth asks Punk if he wants to know what he thinks and Punk says no. Seth says he doesn’t think anything about Punk. Seth says he hasn’t crossed his mind since the last time they were in the ring together. You are a non-factor to him. Do you want to be on commentary or a referee, it doesn’t matter. You talk about how everybody needs you, but Punk, you need him for your Wrestlemania moment. The irony of Punk narrating his finest hour is not lost on him. The way things are going for you, this is the closest you are going to get to a title match again. Do whatever you want at Wrestlemania, but Seth tells Punk that he needs to stay out of his way.
Punk says it is decided. He says he will put some cans on and sit next to his buddy Michael Cole and do some commentary at Wrestlemania. He will do something that Drew and Seth won’t be able to do for themselves and that is make you two interesting.
Drew says Punk doesn’t get the final word because he isn’t even in the match. Drew says the only thing he is obsessed with is the title. He says Punk watches him on social media and he is Drew’s number one stan.
Rollins with a super kick to Drew. Seth hits Black Out on Drew.
– Shinsuke Nakamura tells Jey he gets to go to Wrestlemania to have the dream match with his brother. That is not fair. Why does your dream come true while Nakamura’s doesn’t. He will turn Jey’s dream into a nightmare.
We go to commercial.
Ivy Nile vs. Candice LeRae
Ivy with a take down and a kick in the orner. Ivy with a delayed vertical suplex. Ivy gets a near fall and Candice sends Ivy to the floor. The referee holds Candice back and Indi gingerly approaches Ivy but Ivy gets back into the ring. Candice sends Ivy to the floor again and Candice tells Indi to do what she is supposed to. Maxxine gets on the apron and Candice with a punch to knock Dupri off the apron. Candice goes down in the corner and the referee checks on her. Ivy gets back in the ring and Candice with a double leg take down and a cover with her feet on the ropes for the three count.
Winner: Candice LeRae
After the match, Candice celebrates her victory while Indi is confused.
Backstage:
New Day is in the back with Gargano and CIampa. They ask each other about their team names as they insult each other. Kofi says the match at Wrestlemania will be interesting. R Truth and Miz show up and say this will be the best match ever. Ciampa mentions Wrestlemania and Truth mentions the New Day versus DX match and he says they will be on commentary with JBL.

Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano vs. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods
Ciampa and Kofi start things off and Ciampa with a side head lock. Kofi with a waist lock and Ciampa with a back elbow and a monkey flip but Kofi lands on his feet. Kofi with a drop kick for a near fall. Gargano tags in and Ciampa with a chop and Gargano with a Northern Lariat. Gargano and Ciampa with a double clothesline. Johnny with a chop in the corner. Gargano with a rollup but he misses the round kick. Kofi gets a near fall after a Fameasser. Kofi kicks Johnny in the corner and Woods tags in. Woods with kicks and Kofi tags back in and they continue the kicking. Kofi and Woods with a double super kick to Ciampa followed by double hesitation drop kicks.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Ciampa with many clotheslines to Kofi and Woods followed by a double clothesline. Johnny tags in and they kick Kofi in the corner. Gargano with an enzugiri to Woods and Ciampa with a kick. Johnny with an assisted Asai DDT. Johnny with a suicide dive onto Kofi and Woods.
THE Judgment Day attack Woods, Kofi, and Gargano and the referee calls for the bell.
No Contest
After the match, THE Judgment Day go after Ciampa and Gargano. Ciampa fights back but THE Judgment Day are too much. Dom with a frog splash to Woods. Miz goes into the ring and Priest with a choke slam. Truth stays on commentary while THE Judgment Day surround him and Truth wants to go to commercial.
Priest grabs Truth and sends him into the ring. Truth fights off THE Judgment Day and he punches Finn. Priest with a Razor’s Edge to Truth. Finn goes up top and hits Coup de Grace.
Backstage:
Jackie Redmond is in the back with Cody Rhodes in the locker room. She asks him what did the Rock say to him. Cody apologizes to everyone and he says he would rather not repeat it. He says it is a promise that Rock cannot keep.
We go to commercial.
Backstage:
We are back and Cathy Kelley is with Gunther. She asks him about Sami Zayn’s comments from last week. Gunther says he would have answered Sami directly but he stormed out like a child. Gunther says those words were empty. Sami does not believe he can beat him at Wrestlemania. There are thousands of people out there tonight who don’t think Sami can beat him. Gunther says Sami can’t beat Bronson Reed. Cathy asks Gunther if he will be at ringside for that match and Gunther repeats that he doesn’t think Sami can beat Reed.
Andrade vs. Giovanni Vinci
Vinci pie faces Andrade and Andrade chops Vinci. Vinci with chops and Andrade hangs in the ropes showing he is tranquilo. Vinci with an Irish whip but Andrade sends Vinci to the apron. Vinci with a punch and he goes for a springboard move but Andrade with a drop kick that sends Vinci to the floor. Andrade goes to the ring post for a moonsault. Andrade sends Vinci back into the ring. Andrade goes for a moonsault but Vinci moves and Andrade lands on his feet and he hits the Andrade for a near fall. Andrade with a suplex and he holds on for a second one but Vinci blocks it. Andrade lands on his feet on a suplex attempt. Andrade with a back elbow but Vinci with a cross body.

We are back and Andrade with chops. Andrade blocks a kick and hits a few dragon screw leg whips followed by a flying forearm. Andrade with a running double knee strike in the corner. Andrade gets a near fall. Andrade with a waist lock and Vinci with a clothesline. Andrade escapes a power bomb and Vinci with a chop. Andrade with a back elbow followed by The Message for the three count.
Winner: Andrade
Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley walk in the back as we go to commercial.
In the Arena:
We are back and Raw Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley makes her way to the ring wtih Dominik Mysterio.
Rhea says she feels like she isn’t getting enough attention. She says she feels like a certain someone isn’t giving her their full attention. Becky continues to fight week after week and she could have gotten her attention by attacking her during her matches, but Rhea says she wanted to be respectful. Wrestlemania is around the corner and she asks Dom if Becky should give her her full attention.
Becky’s music interrupts Dom and she makes her way to the ring.
Becky says she is back in Chicago. Becky says Rhea looks fresh as a daisy. At least she didn’t wait until Rhea was done with a 20 minute match. Becky says she can’t do that because Rhea doesn’t wrestle.
Rhea asks why would she want to compete before the biggest match of her career. Rhea says she doesn’t have to get in this ring to get everyone’s attention. She could post a photo or video and see the freaks react. She does not have to prove herself week after week.
Becky tells Rhea to listen to herself. She says that is the problem. They have different interpretations of what a champion means. You think it is showing your ass on social media, while Becky says she is here to bust her ass every night. There will be someone newer, younger, and hotter but it is all about skill and merit. It is how you come back when you are in the muck and when you aren’t the chosen one anymore. At Wrestlemania, she will give Rhea a new experience.
Rhea says Becky is right. You have been through everything. You are a survivor. Rhea says she can’t take that from Becky. Rhea says Becky is a cockroach. You are hard to kill but it is not impossible. She won’t take it that far at Wrestlemania. She wants to let Rhea stay alive so she can sit on her couch and watch Rhea while she listens to your daughter call Rhea ‘Mami’.
Becky says that is Rhea’s one pass and if she mentions her daughter again you will suffer. Becky says her dad never got to meet her daughter. She was proud of what she did in the ring but he would have been proud of what kind of mother she is. That might be a joke to you, but it isn’t a joke to her. You say you didn’t attack me out of respect. There is nothing respectful about you. When you throw that first punch, there is no coming back.
After Wrestlemania, they will never be the same.
They go face to face and Dom pulls Rhea away. Dom gets in Becky’s face and Becky punches Dom and then she goes after Rhea and they exchange punches. Rhea with a kick and she sends Becky shoulder first into the ring post.
Rhea checks on Dom and she starts to leave the ringside area but Becky with a forearm to the back of the head off the ring steps.
Dom holds Rhea back and Becky gets away from the officials and she hits Dom with a forearm. Becky and Rhea exchange more punches.
Backstage:
Sami Zayn walks in the back and he sees Chad Gable talking to Maxxine Dupri. Chad says he wants to talk about how things ended last week. Sami understands and he says that Chad doesn’t think he can beat Gunther. Sami says tonight is about making Gunther eat his words. Chad says Gunther is trying to get Sami off his game. He tells Sami to get his head out of his ass. Sami says Chad is right. He says he knows what he needs to do tonight. Sami says he appreciates what Chad said and they shake hands.

Bronson Reed vs. Sami Zayn
They lock up and Sami with a side head lock. Reed with a shoulder tackle and a head butt. Sami with a back elbow and he sends Reed to the floor. Sami sets for a dive to the floor and hits it. Sami sends Reed back into the ring and he goes up top for a cross body but Reed catches Sami. Sami gets to his feet and he chops and punches Reed. Reed blocks an Irish whip and hits a body block. Reed with a punch and chop that sends Sami to the floor. Reed goes to the apron and hits a shoulder tackle.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Sami with forearms but Reed with a slam and an elbow drop. Sami with a kick and clothesline but Reed stays on his feet. Sami with chops and another clothesline that staggers Reed but he stays on his feet. Reed with a chop and Sami leaps over Reed and hits a clothesline.
Gunther makes his way to the aisle and Sami focuses on Gunther instead of his opponent. Reed with a waist lock but Sami with elbows and he tries for a Blue Thunder Bomb but Reed blocks it. Reed misses a splash and Sami with a rollup for a near fall. Sami with a kick and he tries for an exploder but he collapses under Reed’s weight. Reed with a twisting suplex for a near fall. Reed with chops in the corner. Sami with kicks from the turnbuckles and a tornado DDT. Sami sets for the Helluva Kick but Reed with a clothesline and back senton. Reed goes up top and hits Tsunami for the three count.
WInner: Bronson Reed
Gunther chuckles and walks to the back.
– Jey tells Nakamura he is sleeping on Jey for too long. Solo Sikoa shows up next to Jey and he is joined by Jimmy. Jimmy tells Jey No Yeet.
We go to commercial.
Backstage:
Sami is in the back and he throws things and Chad stops him. Sami says he let Gunther get in his head. Sami asks how does he let that happen? Chad says this is what Gunther does. He plants those seeds of doubt. You showed your physicality and resiliance in the ring. Gunther makes it mental and beats you down. To get to the other side of Wrestlemania with your hand raised, you need a different approach. If that is what you want, we can talk.
– Next week, The New Day and DIY will face THE Judgment Day. Rock and Roman Reigns will be on Raw next week.
– Jey Uso is in Gorilla and Seth Rollins tells him something doesn’t feel right. He says that he and Cody have Jey’s back.
Jey Uso makes his way to the ring as Pat McAfee goes crazy and we cut to another commercial.
Jey Uso vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
They lock up and go into the corner. Nakamura misses a punch but Jey doesn’t miss. Jey slides into the corner on an Irish whip and he punches Nakamura. Jey goes for a suicide dive but Nakamura with a kick. Nakamura with a kick to the back. Jey with an Irish whip but he misses a splash. Nakamura puts Jey on the turnbuckles and connects with a running knee to the ribs and he hits a second one that sends Jey to the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Jey punches Nakamura many times. Jey with a thrust kick and an uppercut. Jey has a kick blocked and Jey with a dragon whip. Jey misses the running hip into the corner. Nakamura blocks a kick and puts Jey in the ropes for a sliding German suplex and he gets a near fall. Nakamura goes to the turnbuckles and Jey moves and Nakamura rolls through. Jey with a thrust kick and Nakamura with a knee to the back of the head.
Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa make their way through the crowd but Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins intercept. Cody and Jimmy fight to the back. Seth sends Jimmy into the ring post and over the ringside barrier. Drew sends Seth into the ring post and hits a Future Shock on the floor.
Meanwhile, back in the ring, Nakamura with a rear naked choke. Jey lands on his feet on a sleeper suplex. Jey with a super kick and spear for the three count.
Winner: Jey Uso
After the match, we go to the back where Jimmy and Cody continue to fight. Cody sends Jimmy outside and Solo comes up behind but Cody stops him and punches Solo. Rock hits Cody from behind and sends him into a table. Rock sends Cody into a trash can. Rock throws the trash can at Cody and connects. Rock punches Cody and sends him into a production case. Rock pours the contents of the tool box onto Cody. Rock sends Cody into a guardrail. Rock picks up another trash can and hits Cody in the head with it. They make their way outside
Rock says he has your attention now. They fight into the rain and Rock punches Cody.
Rock tells Cody to get up. He tells Cody if he wants to run his mouth and be a hero and he sends Cody into one of the buses. Rock tells everyone to look at their hero. Rock tells Mama Rhodes to look at her son. Rock sends Cody nto the bus again. Rock kicks Cody in a tender location. Rock sends Cody into his bus one more time. Do you want to know why The Rock is the final boss? Did you think that this piece of trash win. He says at the end of the day, it didn’t have to be like this, but Cody stuck his nose in the Rock’s business. The prophecy has come true.
We see Cody bleeding and Rock punches Cody in the forehead. Rock tells Cody’s mom to look at him. Rock says he has a special gift and he wipes Cody’s blood on his weight belt. Rock tells Cody’s mom to look at her boy. Rock says her son’s blood will be on Johnson’s hands. Rock says Dusty talked about hard times but he doesn’t know about them. Rock says he will remind Cody about hard times. Rock sends Cody into the bus one more time.
Rock says it didn’t have to be that way, but now it is the only way.
We go to credits.
