3/15 WWE SmackDown Results – We start off with a look at what happened last week on Smackdown to set up the main event for Night One of Wrestlemania.
We are live from the FedEx Forum in Memphis, TN, as The Rock makes his smiling way to the ring to start the show. There are some items in the ring that suggest we might be getting a Rock Concert.
Rock says he usually scorches and torches every city he is in, but tonight, it’s different. This city is different. Years ago, when he first started his wrestling career, he started right here in Memphis. He says every Saturday morning on Channel 5. Every Monday at the Big Top Flea Market. He asks if they remember his name back then and he brings up Flex Kavana. Rock throws out a FINALLY and he says he is back home.
He says it has been years and he says they are going to have fun. He says this is the home of the blues and Elvis. He says he loves his blues and Elvis and country music. He asks everyone if they want to hear a song.
He brings out some accompaniment to get on the announce table.
Rock says he is going to cover a lot of stuff in this song. He says he is going to cover what is going to happen to Cody and Seth at Wrestlemania.
Rock says he’s gonna come lay the smacketh down on the blonde Cody’s ass and his best friend clown. Heis going to break his back and kick his ass. Maybe he’ll just do it with his fanny pack. There’s gonna be so much drama, you’ll have to cry to your mama. Rock says he is talking about Cody’s mom. He says he is a mama’s boy and he asks if anyone else is.
Rock says he is singing about Cody’s Birth.
Dusty’s Youngest son was just what he feared. He tried to raise him right but he turned out weird. He says drugs and cheap condoms was a bad combination. He says Cody stays up because he wasn’t wanted and he was a mistake.
Rock says cackling and dancing is all you do. No wonder your wife’s more popular than you. You make the people cheer for you, but he’ll take your title. He says Seth is as bad as Ja Morant waving a gun.
Rock says he might be missing something.
You’re all so entitled, obnoxious and brash. Some of you have sex, but you pay cash. Your hero is going to bleed and need stitches. Cry about that you crybaby bitches. There are some lines you don’t. You will kiss the ass of the final boss.
Rock asks Memphis if they liked that. Rock says he liked that.
Now he wants to say something now. They had some fun and it is time to have some other fun.
Last week, on Smackdown, Cody did something to him. The world heard it and the Rock felt it.
We take a look back at the slap at the end of Smackdown.
Rock takes a drink as he watches it. He says Cody finally maned up and grew a pair of balls. He says he smiled and a few days later, Cody went on Raw. We were waiting on how Cody would respond to that moment. Would he cut an impassioned promo?
We take a look at Cody’s promo from Raw.
Rock says you responded by crying. You gotta be s***ing me. That is how you respond? You ain’t giving anybody anything. Rock says he doesn’t want to talk to Cody now. He wants to talk to Cody’s mama. He saya he knows she is watching and listening. You are going to know him in ways you don’t know. He says Cody took something from him and he will take something from Cody and make him pay. They will beat Cody and Seth on Night One so it will be Bloodline Rules on Night Two. You want your son to finish the story and hand you the title belt, but the title will stay around the waist of his cousin, Roman Reigns. You are going to get a belt, the Rock’s belt.
Rock pulls out a weight belt with a Brahma Bull logo. He says he will take this belt and beat your son. He says he will make your son bleed. He will tear his skin and flesh and whoop him like a dog over and over. Your son’s blood will be on that belt. When he is done whooping your son and when Roman is done beating Cody, he will walk over to you with this belt and he will hand this belt to her and put it in your lap. You will be crying like your son.
I will whisper into your ear and say Michelle, what can I say except you’re welcome.
Rock says to smell what the final boss is cooking.
– Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo prepare for their tag match later tonight while Santos Escobar and Elektra Lopez watch.

Six-Pack Ladder Match Qualifier
Legado Del Fantasma (Angel & Humberto) vs. LWO (Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde)
Cruz with punches and chops after Humberto misses a clothesline. Humberto with a super kick and Angel tags in and Humberto with a leap frog splash for a near fall. Angel with a chop. Angel with a back heel kick. Humberto tags in and he connects with a shoulder in the corner. Humberto with an Irish whip but Cruz goes to the apron and kicks Humberto and follows with a springboard rana. Wilde tags in and they hit a double back elbow and a double super kick. Humberto goes to the floor and Angel is sent to the floor with a double drop kick. Cruz and Wilde with stereo flip dives. Wilde gets a near fall.
Wilde with a back elbow and a kick to Humberto for a near fall. Cruz tags in and they hit a double back elbow. Cruz sends Wilde onto Humberto and Cruz with a quebrada for a near fall.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Cruz with elbows and Humberto with a forearm and he gets a near fall. Cruz with a chop to Humberto and Humberto kicks Cruz. Angel tags in and Angel drop kicks WIlde off the apron and then Cruz is put on the turnbuckles. Angel with a kick and Humberto tags back in. They set for a Super double press slam and he sends Cruz to the mat and Wilde breaks up the cover. Wilde knocks Angel off the apron but Humberto with a kick to Wilde. Cruz with a rollup for a near fall. Cruz with a Spanish Fly but both men are down. Angel and Wilde tag in and Wilde with a missile double drop kick. Wilde kicks Angel and then he avoids Humberto and hits a neck breaker. Wilde with an elbow to Angel in the corner followed by a springboard rana to Humberto and a super kick to Angel. WIlde with a tornado DDT for a near fall.
Cruz sends Humberto to the floor and Humberto avoids a baseball slide. Angel with a pop up kick to the ribs for the three count.
Winners: Legado del Fantasma
– We see Damage CTRL arriving at the building earlier today. We also see Bayley arrive at the building as well.

In the Arena:
We are back and Kayla Braxton is in the Okerlund Area and her guest is LA Knight. Kayla asks about Knight’s quest for AJ Styles. Knight takes the mic and Kayla leaves.
Knight says he wants to talk to ya. He says AJ said he had to be humble. Now you are talking his language. Knight tells AJ to come out and humble him.
Knight looks around and no one comes out. Another week when AJ Styles doesn’t show up. Napoleon Styles making threats but he doesn’t show up. AJ flies to Australia but he can’t drive to Memphis? Knight says he spots the marks and AJ is the biggest mark. If you can’t show up on Smackdown, he knows somewhere AJ can’t help but show up. Knight says he is talking about Wrestlemania. Knight says that AJ said he walks around like he owns the place. He might not own the place but he will own AJ’s ass.
AJ comes out from behind with a chair and he hits Knight in the back with it. AJ puts the chair on top of Knight and he says he accepts. Referees and officials come out to point where AJ needs to go.
– We take a look at Logan Paul from last week.
Backstage:
Logan Paul enters Nick’s office and he wants to know what Randy’s punishment will be for what happened last week. Will he be fined? Nick doesn’t say anything. Logan says Randy should have to apologize. Logan says he doesn’t care, but he says Nick might get in trouble. Nick says it would set a great precedent if you requested that apology from Randy Orton in person. Logan says it is Nick’s job to make it happen, but how could Nick do his job when he can’t find him an opponent for Wrestlemania.

Backstage:
We see Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman walking in the back and Kayla scares Paul. She asks if they have an answer to Jey’s challenge. Jimmy says before everything they did, he was his little brother. He says he raised Jey. Last year it was them together. This year it is Jimmy versus Jey. He tells Jey YEET.
Randy Orton vs. Grayson Waller
Before the referee can start the match, Logan Paul comes out to the ring.
Waller attacks Orton while Randy watches Logan approach the announce table. Waller with punches on the turnbuckles. Orton with snake eyes and Orton punches Waller many times. Waller drops Orton onto the turnbuckles and he sends Randy to the floor. Orton punches Waller and he tries for a back drop driver onto the announce table but Waller with elbows to escape. Waller is sent into the timekeeper’s area. Theory and Paul distract Orton and hits a slingshot rolling flatliner onto the announce table.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Waller with a cravate. Orton with punches but Waller with a knee. Waller with an Irish whip but Orton with a clothesline. Orton with another clothesline and he ducks a clothesline from Waller. Orton with a power slam. Waller goes to the apron and Orton sets for the IEDDT but Waller gets into the ring and back drops Orton to the floor. Orton avoids a clothesline after a baseball slide. Orton with a back drop driver onto the announce table. Orton with another back drop driver onto the announce table. Waller begs for mercy and Theory gets on the apron. Waller tries to hit Orton but Orton moves and Waller knocks Theory off the apron.
Orton with an IEDDT and he looks around before twisting to the mat for the RKO push ups. Theory pulls Waller to the floor so Orton grabs Theory and hits an IEDDT. Waller tries to sneak attack Orton but Randy sees him and hits an RKO for the three count.
Winner: Randy Orton
After the match, Theory clips Orton and then Theory holds Orton for Logan. Logan kisses Orton on the forehead and sets for a punch but… Kevin Owens’ music plays.
Owens knocks Waller over and then he punches Theory to send him to the floor. Kevin helps Randy up and by reflex sets for an RKO but Kevin avoids it. Theory gets back in the ring and Owens with a kick and stunner. Theory with a ridiculous bounce off the move into an RKO.
Nick Aldis comes out and he asks Logan if he got that apology. He says he has determined Logan’s opponent for Wrestlemania. Nick says he has determined his opponents for Wrestlemania. Logan will defend against Kevin Owens AND Randy Orton in a Triple Threat match. Nick gives Logan a thumbs up and he walks to the back.
Backstage:
Kayla Braxton is with Damage CTRL. Dakota says Bayley won’t be able to take them all out and make it to Wrestlemania. Dakota says she is going to break Bayley. Anyone who feels sorry for her has lost their minds. This is due to you. You were threatened by Iyo and you were afraid of Asuka and Kairi. Dakota has a message for the entire locker room and she says they run this show.
We go to commercial.
Santos Escobar vs. Dragon Lee
Lee with running back elbows followed by punches. Lee with a head scissors take down and a flip dive onto Santos on the floor. Lee floats over and sets for a power bomb but Santos with upunches and he escapes. Santos is sen tot he turnbuckles and Lee with a super kick and an enzuigiri. Lee sets for a power bomb and hits it but gets a near fall. Lee with a kick in the corner and a leg sweep. Lee kicks Angel from the apron and he hits a slingshot drop kick. Humberto gets on the apron and Lee leaps over the top rope and hits a rana to the floor. Lee returns to the ring and Santos with a Phantom Driver for the three count.
WInner: Santos Escobar
After the match, Angel, Humberto, and Santos attack Lee.
Carlito comes out and he hits a lungblower on Humberto and hits a power bomb of Angel onto Humberto. Santos attacks Carlito but Rey’s music plays and Santos loses the ability to do anything until Rey gets to the ring. Rey with punches to Santos. Rey with a head scissors that sends Santos into the ropes but Santos is able to escape the 619.
Rey asks why is Santos running. You said it was supposed to be them together. Rey says he will give Santos what he wants. Next week, one on one, you and me? Rey says he promises Santos from the bottom of his heart, he will slap that stupid, arrogant smile off your face.
– Bayley is in the back preparing for her match against Dakota.

Six-Pack Ladder Match Qualifier
New Catch Republic (Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate) vs. Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson)
Tyler rolls away from Kit. They go to a Test of Strength and Tyler with a head scissors and he tags in Dunne and Tyler with a head scissors. Dunne with a wrist lock and Kit avoids any damage to his hand. Pete stomps on the arm. Pete stomps on the elbow. Pete is sent to the apron and Pete chops Elton. Pete goes for Kit’s fingers but Kit escapes and Elton with a leg sweep on the apron. Kit gets a near fall and then he punches Pete. Elton and Kit work over Pete in the corner and Elton tags in. Pete with chops. Elton with a take down and punches. Kit tags in and he kicks Pete in the midsection. PEte with chops to Kit. Pete with a forearm to Elton on the apron. Pete with a drop kick to the knee.
Tyler tags in and punches both men. Tyler with a chop and uppercut to Elton. Bate with a satellite head scissors take down. Tyler with running uppercuts into the corner on both men. Bate catches Kit when he goes for a splash into the corner. Tyler with an exploder and a shooting star press. Tyler with an airplane spin to Elton and a Michinoku Driver.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Kit with a slam and he tries for a suplex but Bate blocks it and Bate with a delayed vertical suplex. Pete and Elton tag in and Pete with an enzuigiri to Elton and a drop kick to Kit on the apron. Pete with a punch and he stomps on Kit’s hands. Pete with an X Plex to Kit on the apron. Pete with a German suplex to Elton and an X Plex into a cross arm breaker. Elton gets a near fall. Pete stomps on the hands and he kicks Elton. Tyler tags in and Pete and Tyler with kicks in the corner. Tyler with a corkscrew uppercut off the turnbuckles and Pete with a slam. Pete chops Kit and Kit with a rebound clothesline. Tyler with a flying European uppercut to Kit. Elton with a kick to counter the rebound clothesline. Bate and Pete are sent into the ring post shoulder first. Kit and Elton with a double team bulldog off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Elton tags in for Spilled Milk but Bate stops Kit. Bate with a clothesline and Pete tags in and they hit a double burning hammer for the three count.
Winners: Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate
Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate will face Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo to see who advances to Wrestlemania.
– Bayley walks in the back as we go to commercial.
– We are back and CM Punk will return in Chicago on March 25th.
– Next week, Rey Mysterio faces Santos Escobar. The Authors of Pain face The Street Profits and The OC will face Grayson Waller and Austin Theory in qualifying matches for the Ladder match. Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns will be face to face.
Bayley vs. Dakota Kai
Bayley with a take down and punches to Dakota. Dakota gets to the floor and Bayley follows. Bayley returns to the ring and Dakota slaps Bayley. Bayley runs Dakota into the turnbuckles and she punches and kicks Dakota. Bayley with punches. Kairi gets on the apron and Bayley knocks her off. Dakota is sent to the apron and Bayley punches her and then trips Kai on the apron. Bayley with a suplex o the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Kai with a side head lock. Bayley with a running knee and both women are down. Bayley avoids Asuka’s attempt to interfere and Kai with a double stomp in the corner for a near fall. Kai chokes Bayley in the ropes in front of Kairi, Asuka, and Iyo. Asuka punches Bayley when the referee was not looking and Kai gets a near fall. Bayley sends Kai to the apron and hits a cutter in the ropes. Bayley goes up top and Kai with a kick to stop her. Kai sets for a superplex but Bayley blocks it. Bayley knocks Kai to the mat and Bayley with an elbow drop and she hits it for a near fall. Bayley goes for a belly-to-belly suplex but Kai escapes and kicks Bayley.
Kairi attacks Bayley and Iyo pulls her off. Kai with a boot in the corner. Kai sets for a running thrust kick but Bayley catches Kai and hits a power bomb. Bayley with punches and she sends Kai to the floor. Iyo comes into the ring and Asuka and Kairi also go after Bayley but Bayley stops them. Iyo and Bayley circle each other and then everyone attacks Bayley.
Winner: Bayley (by disqualification)
After the match Naomi comes out and hits Last Train to Clarksville o Kairi. Iyo and Asuka send Naomi to the floor. Asuka with a kick to Bayley and then Dakota, Kairi, and Asuka hit a triple drop kick. They hold Bayley for a moonsault from Iyo.
