3/12 NXT Results – We start off with a look back at last week.
Bronco Nima and Lucien Price vs. Joaquin Wilde and Cruz del Toro in a Qualifying Match for the Tag Title Match at Stand and Deliver
Nima and Price attack WIlde and Cruz before the bell rings. Wilde is hip tossed into the ring.
The referee starts the match. Price tags in and he connects with a knee. Wilde with a waist lock and Price with an elbow and a release suplex for a near fall. Nima tags in and Price iwth a clothesline in the corner. Nima with a forearm. Wilde with a jaw breaker and Cruz tags in and kicks Nima. Cruz with a springboard head scissors that sends Nima to the floor. Price is sent to the floor and Wilde and Cruz with stereo suicide dives. Wilde tags in and Wilde and Cruz with a series of kicks and a double super kick. Wilde gets a near fall. Nima iwth punches and Price with a forearm to knock Wilde down while Nima takes care of Cruz in front of the referee. Nima with a superplex and he gets a near fall.
We see Bron and Baron in the HBalKony as we go to commercial.
We are back and Nima with a cravate on Wilde. We see SCRYPTS interfering during the commercial break. Price tags in and Nima and Price miss Wilde and he tags in Cruz. Cruz with a drop kick to Nima and punches to Price. Price catches Cruz on a cross body but Cruz sends Price to the turnbuckles. Cruz lands on teh turnbuckles and hits a springboard drop kick. Cruz gets a near fall. Price runs Cruz into the corner and tags in Nima. Cruz punches Nima and Nima with an Irish whip. Cruz with kicks and punches. Price catches Cruz and hits a side slam for a near fall. Nima with a super kick to Wilde. Cruz with a springboard round kick to Nima. Price gets Cruz up but Cruz gets to his feet. Wilde leaps over Nima’s back to hit a cross body onto SCRYPTS and Price. Cruz kicks Nima and he goes for a springboard move but Nima catches Cruz. Cruz with elbows and he hits a rana. Wilde tags in.
Wilde with a springboard 450 for the three count.
WInners: Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde
– We see Oba Femi arriving at the building and he is asked about his match. Brooks Jensen confronts Femi and Briggs wants to know why Brooks is trying to piss him off.
– We see Roxanne Perez walking in the back as we go to commercial.
– We are back and Chase is with Thea Hail. Thea says she hates this. Andre says that he is here for Thea. Duke walks by and he wants to know what is bothering her. Thea says Jazymn and Jacy don’t have time for her but Jazmyn is an influencer. She says she doesn’t have to be with Jacy all the time. Thea says she has other friends and Duke and Andre are wishy washy about it. Thea says she knows someone who has issues with Izzi and Kiana. Kelani Jordan shows up and says she has issues with them so she will team with Thea.
– Roxanne Perez is in the ring.
She says last week is what happens when you get sick and tired of playing by the rules. That sweet, innocent Roxanne Perez who is happy to be here is no longer around. This has been boiling for months and months. This is a year in the making. After beating Meiko Satomura last year at Roadblock, she collapsed in the ring. She collapsed after four months of carrying this division on her back. The pressure and anxiety of the best rookie year. She says her title was taken from her but people said she would get another chance. She has busted her ass for a year in all of these matches while people were drooling over Tiffy Time or Becky Lynch, who won a title she could never win.
You didn’t think she belongs in the ring with Becky. Roxanne says she went home and cried about the crowd’s reaction. She tells the crowd to screw themselves for booing her. She does not care about what anyone things now. She mentions everything that she has won.
Roxanne mentions Lyra and she says she expected Lyra to come up to her to apologize for that Latina dancing girl to ruin your match and we need to run it back. Lyra did not do that. She went after the tag titles. The only way she was going to get what she deserves is to break the rules and do it her way. Now, everyone wants to cheer and support her. Where were you when Indi held her title?
She says the NXT Universe reminds her of young Roxanne Perez. Naive and not knowing what they wan. She says she doesn’t need anyone now. It is funny how history repeats itself. Now you are the one taking the ride in the ambulance. The pain you are feeling is not the pain from your arm. That is the pain of your title being ripped away from you and awarded to her. Now, thanks to the Prodigy you have witnessed the rise and fall of Lyra Valkyria.
Roxanne tells Ava she can come out and strip Lyra of the title and give her back her title.
Ava makes her way to the ring. She says Roxanne has so much to say, but you stepped out of line last week and put Lyra in an ambulance for no reason. Roxanne says they can jump ahead to her being given the title. Ava tells Roxanne not to interrupt her. Ava says they waited until they saw the extent of the injuries before stripping her of the title. Tatum Paxley tries to attack Roxanne but she is held back by officials.
We go to commercial.
– We go to RESTAURANT and all four are there for Luca’s initiation dinner. They toast the new addition. Luca says he appreciates it. He says he got those two things done for Tony. Rizzo says she talked to their connections in Philly and they are ready to pay their respects to the future champion. Tony says this move is a long time coming. He says Channiing was perfect hitting that music. Tony says he talked to Trick about what happened last week.
Ilja shows up and everyone but Tony leaves. Ilja smiles at Tony and he congratulates him and said that Tony did what he said he would do. Ilja says that Tony has his fingers in many pies and now he has everything. This title is what Ilja still has. He says no matter what you do at Stand and Deliver, the title stays with him.
Tony says he wants Ilja to know that whatever happens here… Channing and Luca grab Ilja and take him into the back. Tony is asked if everything is okay and he thanks MANAGER for a great meal. Tony asks Channing and Luc if they are set. They drive away.
Lexis King vs. Robert Stone
Stone with punches and he goes to the floor momentarily. Stone with more punches and King sends Stone to the floor and misses a baseball slide. Stone with a pescado. Stone misses a cross body when King moves and King with a running knee to the midsection. King stomps on the ribs and connects with knees. King with another knee to the midsection. King yells at Stone and kicks him in the ribs again. King with an abdominal stretch. King with a slam. Stone with chops but King with knees and a chop. King with a hard Irish whip and he puts Stone on the turnbuckles. King with a forearm and he goes to the turnbuckles. Stone pushes King off the turnbuckles and Stone with a cross body for a near fall. King with a super kick. King with a running knee to the back of the head followed by Coronation for the three count.
WInner: Lexis King
After the match, King sets for another Coronation but Von Wagner comes out to make the save for Stone.
– Vic Joseph mentions the news that SummerSlam will be in Cleveland.
– Kelly Kincaid asks Oba about what happened in the Most Dangerous parking Lot in Sports Entertainment. He says a boy was mistaken to think that he can compete. Now he will get slaughtered. Dijak shows up and he says once Oba is finished playing around, he says we can see if he has what it takes.
We go to commercial.
Oma Femi vs. Brooks Jensen for the North American Championship
They lock up and Brooks send Oba into the ropes. They lock up and Brooks pushes Oba on the break. They lock up and Brooks with a side head lock. OIba puts Brooks on the apron but Brooks holds on to the side head lock. Oba pushes Brooks off the apron. Oba iwth a shoulder tackle and a side head lock and hip lock take down.
We see Josh Briggs in LOCKER ROOM watching MONITOR and he PACES.
Brooks with forearms and he sends Oba into the turnbuckles. Brooks is sent to the apron and he connects with a forearm. Oba with a punch to the midsection and a double sledge to the back. Oba with a forearm to the back and a kick. Oba with a punch and forearm. Brooks iwth a kick and clothesline.
Brooks with some jabs but they miss. Brooks escapes Oba in the corner. Brooks with a slap and side head lock. Brooks with a head scissors take down. Brooks with a side head lock. Oba with a head scissors and Brooks escapes. Oba sends Brooks to the apron and then he connects with a knee when Brooks gets back into the ring. Oba kicks Brooks. Oba hip tosses Brooks back into the ring. Brooks with forearms and Oba with a forearm to send Brooks to the mat. Oba with an elbow drop for a near fall. Oba with a back breaker.
Oba gets a near fall. Brooks and Oba exchange forearms. Oba with a bear hug. Brooks with elbows and he connect s with a kick when Oba charges into the corner. Brooks with a rollup for a near fall. Brooks with a drop kick and Oba goes to the floor. Brooks with an elbow drop to the back off the apron. Brooks misses a drop kick and Oba with a uranage back breaker. Oba holds on and hits another uranage back breaker. Oba gets a near fall.
We see Briggs continue to WATCH MONITOR but he stops.
Oba with a running uppercut into the corner. Oba with a rear chin lock.
Josh Briggs makes his way to the ring to motivate Brooks.
Brooks backs Oba into the corner but Oba with a forearm to the back. Oba with another forearm to the lower back. Brooks with a back elbow and punches. Brooks with a super kick and clothesline. Brooks with a drop kick and power slam for a near fall. Oba with snake eyes. Oba gets Brooks up and tosses him to the mat. Oba gets Brooks up again and tosses him to the mat. Oba with a pop up power bomb but Oba stares at Briggs instead of finishing the match. Oba has some words for Briggs and he hits another power bomb for the three count.
Winner: Oba Femi (retains championship)
Josh Briggs checks on Brooks after the match.
– We go to the FAMILY BRIDGE and Ilja gets his title belt back from Channing. He walks over to Tony and Tony says this wasn’t done out of disrespect. You can’t walk into his restaurant uninvited and not have anything happen to them. Tony says he has walked on this bridge before and has walked off the bridge alone. Tony says this is not that time. Tony says he can end everything with the snap of his fingers. Ilja has power, but not THAT power. Ilja tells Tony to show him what power he has. Tony tells Ilja to have a nice walk home. Ilja tells Tony he will find out that Ilja always finds a way.
We go to commercial.
Gigi Dolin versus Arianna Grace
They lock up and Gigi backs Grace into the corner. Grace pushes Gigi and Grace hides in the ropes when Gigi forms a fist. They lock up and Grace with a side head lock. Grace goes to the floor. Gigi goes to the floor and Grace runs away. Grace misses an elbow drop and Gigi with forearms. Gigi send Grace throat first into the ropes and hits a hesitation drop kick. Gigi gets a near fall. Gigi misses a Bronco Buster and Grace kicks Gigi. Grace with a suplex and an elbow drop for a near fall. Gigi with a series of near falls. Gigi goes for a backslide but Grace gets to the ropes. Grace with a knee to the midsection and a judo throw for a near fall. Grace with an arm bar and chin bar combination. Gigi blocks a suplex and hits a suplex of her own. Gigi with a clothesline and a round kick to the temple. Gigi with an STO and she gets a near fall.
Grace with an elbow and a clothesline. Grace gets her tiara and she wants to put it on Gigi. The referee grabs the tiara and does not see Grace hit a low kick. Gigi with a low blow and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Arianna Grace (by disqualification)
– Sol Ruca and Karmen Petrovic talk about Sol’s return. Karmen talks about how the division has changed. Lola Vice shows up and she calls Karmen karate girl and challenges her to a match. Brinley Reece appreciates Sol coming back and her positive vibe. She is looking forward to next week’s match. Karmen says not everyone is going to be like Blair.
We go to commercial.
– We see Kelani Jordan being checked out by officials after being ‘attacked’. Thea Hail freaks out.
Kelani Jordan (maybe) and Thea Hail versus Kiana James and Izzi Dame
Fallon Henley comes out to take Jordan’s place and she punches Izzi and Thea with punches as well. Thea and Fallon with a double clothesline. They hit a double clothesline on Kiana. Fallon tags in and they give Kiana a double arm wringer. Kiana backs Fallon into the corner and connects with a shoulder. Fallon sends Kiana to the mat and misses a drop kick. Izzi tags in and Izzi catches Fallon on a cross body. Fallon with a springboard arm lock take down. Fallon with drop kicks. Fallon tries for the slide to the floor but Kiana stops her. Izzi with a hot shot and Kiana tags in and kicks Falloin. Kiana with a running boot for a near fall. Kiana sends Fallon into the turnbuckles and connects with a shoulder. Izzi tags in and she holds Fallon while Kiana punches her and Izzi gets a near fall. Izzi with a running knee to the head. Izzi gets a near fall.
Izzi works on the neck.
Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx show up at ringside.
Fallon with an elbow and Izzi with a forearm. Kiana tags in and Fallon kicks Kiana and gives Izzi an arm drag. Thea tags in and hits running double sledges and a head scissors take down on Izzi. Thea with kicks to Kiana. Thea with a power slam and barrel roll. Thea with a springboard coffin drop for a near fall. Fallon and Izzi are sent to the floor. Kiana with a spinebuster for a near fall. Thea with a kimura and Kiana sends Thea over the top rope to the floor. Izzi kicks Fallon and then Jacy pulls Fallon out of the way and Izzi kicks Thea. Kiana with Bankrupt for the three count.
Winners: Izzi Dame and Kiana James
After the match, Thea takes the mic and she tells Jacy that she probably thinks she is a loser. She asks what happened to Jacy? She says she thought Jacy was the coolest in the locker room and she thought that Jacy was her best friend. Thea says she finally thought she had somebody who saw what she was and what she wanted to be. Thea says she changed herself for Jacy. Through this entire friendship, you have become a more rotten version of yourself. Thea says she ignored that because she idolized Jacy. She says she though Jacy was her sister. Thea says she was wrong and she is done. Thea says this isn’t her and it is Jacy. Thea says she doesn’t want to be like Jacy. She says she is sorry she isn’t cool enough for Jacy’s toxic self.
Thea says the old Thea Hail is back… bitch. Jacy and Jazmyn leave while Thea runs around the ring.
– Riley watches MONITOR and he appreciates what she did. Charlie Dempsey says Thea achieved her highest point with them. Riley reminds Charlie of what William Regal did. Drew says if Riley says the right word, they can invoke the Catch Clause.
Nathan Frazer and Axiom show up and they say that Riley can beat any of them. Axiom says he knows someone who had the Heritage Cup. Drew says they will walk out of Stand and Deliver as the Tag Champions and the Heritage Cup Champion.
We go to commercial.
– Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson talk about how being tag champs sounds good. They have to go through Hank and Tank first. You are going to get the short end of the stick because they were champions before you even started in the business. Karl says they are on a mission to give Magic Killers to every tag team until there is one left.
– We got o Hank and Tank watching MONITOR in LOUNGE. Hank says they didn’t get here by luck. Hank says it sounds like Karl and Luke have their bags packed for Philly, but they will shock them next week and then they will win triple threat.
Baron and Bron show up because they were mentioned. Baron says they can beat the OC. Hank and Tank get psyched up and they walk away. Bron and Baron wonder what the hell they just saw.
Ridge Holland vs. Shawn Spears
Shawn slaps Ridge and Ridge runs Spears into the corner. Spears with a front face lock and Ridge with a back drop but Shawn tries for a sunset flip. Spears slaps Ridge and he tells Ridge to let it out. Ridge with a clothesline and he sends Spears into the corner. Spears wit a boot and punches. Spears with punches on the turnbuckles. Ridge pushes Spears away and he hits a running shoulder tackle. Ridge goes over the top rope to the floor when Spears drops down. Ridge with a leg sweep to knock Spears down on the apron. Ridge with a chop and European uppercuts. Ridge wants to run Spears shoulder first into the ring post but Ridge stops and Spears sends Ridge into the ring post shoulder first.
They return to the ring and Spears punches Ridge. Spears with a chop in the corner. Spears with more chops. Ridge with an Irish whip Ridge sets for a suplex and Spears counters with a suplex of his own for a near fall. Spears with knees to the back and a rear chin lock. Ridge with European uppercut. Ridge grabs Spears by the throat and connects with a clothesline. Ridge with punches. Ridge sends Spears to the floor and then into the ringside barrier. Ridge with a running shoulder tackle on the floor. Ridge sends Spears into the ring steps. Ridge moves the ring steps and then he pulls off the cover of the announce table. Spears gets back in the ring and Ridge pulls Spears to the floor. Ridge gets on the steps and sets for a choke slam through the announce table and hits it. Ridge grabs a chair and brings it into the ring. The referee stops Ridge from using the chair and Spears with a rollup for a near fall.
Ridge goes for a slam but Spears gets to his feet and Spears with a running Death Valley Driver into the corner and onto the chair for the three count.
Winner: Shawn Spears
– Next Week Roxanne Perez faces Tatum Paxley. Gallow and Anderson face Hank and Tank. Axiom and Nathan Frazer face two members of the No Quarter Catch Crew. Riley Osborne faces a member of the No Quarter Catch Crew for the Heritage Cup.
We go to commercial.
– We are back and Trick Williams makes his way to the ring.
Trick says he usually comes to this ring and he does his thing. Today, he is struggling to find the words to say what he wants to say. He says he is pissed off and angry. He says he feels betrayed. Family means something to him. If you are his brother, you have his back. He says he had Melo’s back for two years. He saw Melo earn everything with a smile on his face because that is what brothers do. Trick asks why. He says he is not going to lie. Why didn’t you succeed? He went to Shawn Michaels to find out how to get to the next level. You said you were happy with him. Trick says he took that chance and that is when Trick Willy was born. Everyone saw it.
Trick says he wants Melo to be happy for him the way that he was happy for Melo. People told him that Melo wasn’t happy for Trick. John Cena told him that Melo was hating on him. That is when he went to Melo and asked him if he attacked him. You looked him in the eye and lied to his face. You have been lying for a long time. Trick says you liked about being his brother. You told the truth about one thing. The reason you did what you did is because you aren’t on the same level. They have never been on the same level. He says Melo will never be on the same level as him.
Trick says he had Melo’s back but you stabbed him in his. At Stand and Deliver, I will pay you back for everything you did. Everyone will be chanting Whoop That Trick.
Noam Dar interrupts and he says your life has been epic, but let’s be real. They are sick and tired of you complaining about Melo and what he did. Noam says that Trick deserved it.
Trick tells Noam to mind his own business.
Noam says they are not different. You lost your best friend while Noam says he lost the Heritage Cup. He says he didn’t run home and cry about it. Dar says he decided to move on to bigger and better things.
Trick tells Noam to stop.
Dar says there is nobody hotter than Trick right now.
Trick says that Lash is looking at him and they all agree.
Lash says Trick needs to listen to Dar.
Dar says he is ready to blast off and there is no better way than to knock out the Paper Tiger of NXT. Next week, we are not going to talk about it, they are going to fight about it.
Trick punches Dar and Mensah. Lash swings at Trick and Trick blocks it and they kiss.
Trick clotheslines Mensah and Dar and sends them to the floor.
We go to credits.
