2/16 WWE SmackDown Results – We see a vehicle arriving at the building earlier tonight and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson emerges.
We are live from the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. as Kevin Owens makes his way to the ring. Dominik Mysterio is next.
Men’s Elimination Chamber Qualifier: Kevin Owens vs. Dominik Mysterio
Before the match, Dominik Mysterio has a mic and he says that The Judgment Day is going to dom… He then says Finn and Damian are… Dom says they are going to retain the tag titles, Mami is going to stay Women’s champion, and he is going to win the Elimination Chamber to complete the sweep.
They lock up and Kevin with a side head lock. Dom with a reversal. Kevin with a shoulder tackle and Dom stays on his feet. Kevin with a shoulder tackle after he tells Dom to try. Dom goes to the floor. Dom returns to the ring and Kevin blocks a kick. Kicin with a kick and side head lock. Kevin with a shoulder tackle and an arm drag. Kevin tries to punch Dom but he goes to the floor. Dom returns to the ring and he kicks Kevin and applies a side head lock. Dom with a head scissors take down and an arm drag followed by a drop kick. Kevin with a punch and clothesline that sends Dom over the top rope to the floor. Dom moves when Kevin teases a dive to the floor. Dom pulls Kevin to the floor and sends Kevin into the apron. Kevin Irish whips Dom into the ring steps but Dom stops short. Kevin with a punch.
R Truth shows up and Dom with a baseball slide to Kevin. Dom sends Kevin into the announce table and ring steps. Dom with a slingshot senton and he gets a near fall.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Dom with a reverse chin lock on Owens while Truth is confused about Kevin’s identity. Kevin with punches and forearms. Dom lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt. Dom with an Edge-O-Matic for a near fall. Kevin and Dom exchange punches. Kevin with forearms. Kevin with a kick and a short arm clothesline. Kevin with punches and head butts followed by kicks. Dom rolls to the floor and Kevin follows with a running clothesline. Kevin with a back senton. They return to the ring and Kevinsets for a cannonball and he connects. Kevin goes up top and hits a frog splash for a near fall. Kevin goes for a pop up power bomb but Dom leaps over. Dom with an X Factor for a near fall. Dom with a suplex and he rolls through for a second one. Kevin blocks the third Amigo and Kevin with a suplex. Kevin holds on and hits a second one. Dom with a kick and DDT for a near fall.
Dom misses a frog splash when Kevin moves. Kevn goes up top and hits a swanton for a near fall. Kevin with a kick and Dom escapes a stunner. Dom with a super kick and Kevin falls into the ropes. Dom with a 619 and he gets a near fall. Dom tells Truth to get him a chair if he wants to be in The Judgment Day. Truth gets a chair and he sits down at ringside to watch. Kevin with a super kick when Dom turns around. Kevin with a pop up power bomb for the three count.
Winner: Kevin Owens
After the match, Truth celebrates with Owens.
Backstage:
Drew McIntyre is in the back with Kayla Braxton. Drew says all of the top superstars want to win the Elimination Chamber. Drew says he has to win to save Wrestlemania. He says his moment was stolen four years ago.
LA Knight shows up and he says Drew can talk about his moment being stolen and it will be stolen one more time at the Elimination Chamber. Drew says he sees through Knight. It comes from a place of insecurity. They are behind you, but you need to produce results or they will turn on you. Knight says when he looks at Drew’s resume, he hasn’t been champion since Knight arrived. Knigth says there is room for one more name on the tombstone on your t-shirt. Officials show up to try to stop Drew and Knight.
– We see Roman Reigns arriving about an hour and 45 minutes before his cousin. Jimmy and Solo greet him and they are going to fix everything.
– Zeilina Vega makes her way to the ring accompanied by LWO as we go to commercial.
– We see footage of Logan Paul arriving at the building a little before Roman Reigns.
Backstage:
Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate are with Kayla Braxton. She asks about facing The Judgment Day next week. Pete says everything is great. All that is left is for The Bruiserweight and Big Strong Boy to walk into Perth and become tag champs. Tyler says they are due a new tag team name. He suggests New Catch Republic because they are going to revolutionize tag team wrestling.
Dom shows up and says that they can’t beat two members of The Judgment Day. They suggest that they face Dom and R Truth next week and Dom says Truth isn’t in the group. Tyler says that must mean Dom and JD.
Women’s Elimination Chamber qualifier: Tiffany Stratton vs. Zelina Vega
They lock up and Tiffany with a waist lock and she pushes Vega away. Tiffany posses and Vega with a waist lock. Tiffany backs Vega into the corner and connects with an elbow. Vega with a head scissors take down. Tiffany with a knee to the midsection followed by a slam. Tiffany misses a stomp and Vega with a leg sweep. Tiffany is sent to the apron and Vega kicks Tiffany off the apron. Vega sends Tiffany into the apron and follows with an arm drag off the apron. Vega goes up top and hits a moonsault off the turnbuckles onto Tiffany. Vega sets for a dive but she sees Legado del Fantasma in the front row.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Tiffany with a reverse chin lock.
Carlito, Wilde, and Cruz arrive at ringside to set up a later distraction.
Vega with a flying clothesline followed by a leg sweep into the ropes. Vega with a satellite DDT for a near fall. Tiffany with a kick followed by a cartwheel into an Alabama slam for a near fall. Tiffany sets for the Prettiest Moonsault Ever but Vega stops Tiffany. Vega with a Tiger Feint Kick to the legs followed by Meteora for a near fall. Tiffany goes to the floor and Vega follows. Tiffany with a knee and she Irish whips Vega right in front of Legado. Vega pulls Lopez over the top rope and then we get the standoff we expected.
Tiffany kicks Vega as she comes into the ring. Tiffany with a choke slam followed by Prettiest Moonsault Ever for the three count.

Backstage:
AJ Styles is in the locker room and Karl, Luke, and Mia show up. Karl says AJ forgot where he came from while Mia and Luke show some concern. AJ gets in Karl’s face and Karl says that is what held you back. He tells Karl to try it again. They breathe heavily until AJ leaves.
– We see the Final Testament in the back as we go to commercial.
Backstage:
Iyo says that Bayley says their success is due to them. It started with your vision but they made them a success. You are not the same person she brought back. It is Iyo’s Era. She will embarrass Bayley. Asuka asks about Dakota’s motivation. Kairi says that Dakota needs to sleep with one eye open.
AOP vs. Javier Bernal and Beau Morris
Akam with a clothesline to Bernal and he hits an exploder. Rezar tags in and Akam hits Morris and they bring him into the ring. Rezar with punches to Morris and then Akam tags in. Akam and Rezar set for Super Collider and then hit power bombs. They hit a neck breaker and power bomb combination for the three count.

Backstage:
Logan Paul is with Byron Saxton. Byron asks Logan about his first match on Smackdown. Logan tells everyone you’re welcome. He tells everyone to mention him on social media. He will knock out Miz tonight. He will win his match and he is going to Australia to win the Elimination Chamber. He says he will beat Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania and he will become a double champion.
We go to commercial.
– We take a look back at what happened on Raw between Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.
– We ee the door for The Bloodline and food is being delivered.
Men’s Elimination Chamber Qualifier: Logan Paul vs. The Miz
They lock up and Logan backs Miz into the corner and he bops him of the forehead. Miz with a punch and side head lock but Miz with a shoulder tackle. Miz catches Logan on a leap frog and hits a reverse atomic drop and punch. Miz sends Logan into the turnbuckles. Logan with an Irish whip and Miz sends Logan to the apron. Logan with a forearm and he goes up top and hits a cross body. Logan goes for a moonsault but he lands on Miz’ legs. Miz gets a near fall with a rollup. Miz kicks Logan in the leg and hits a drop kick to the leg in the ropes. Miz gets a near fall.
We see Nick Aldis with Jade Cargill, Bron Breakker, and others.
Logan with a Finlay Slam to Miz followed by uppercuts. Logan with a split leg drop and he gets a near fall. Logan with chops in the corner. Miz returns the favor with chops of his own. Miz with kicks to the midsection. Miz sets for the Awesome Clothesline and he hits it. Miz with a shoulder from the apron. Logan with a back elbow and he sends Miz into the ring post. Logan with a springboard clothesline and then he goes to the turnbuckels and hits a splash off the turnbuckles to Miz on the apron.

We are back and Miz hits Reality Check and both men are down. Miz with punches but Logan with a kick. Miz with a clothesline and an Irish whip and flying clothesline. Miz with a hammerlock flatliner for a near fall. Miz sets for Skull Crushing Finale but Logan backs Miz into the corner and Logan misses a splash. Miz kicks Logan off the turnbuckles to crotch him and Miz with a hanging Codebreaker for a near fall. Miz with kicks to the chest. Miz sets for a round kick but Logan ducks and Logan with a rollup for a near fall. Miz with a boot to the head and he puts Logan’s leg on the rope and hits a knee drop to the leg. Miz kicks Logan in the back of the leg to send him to the mat. Logan pulls the ring skirt and the referee gets distracted to allow Logan to rake the eyes. Logan hits a Skull Crushing Finale but Miz kicks out.
Logan loads up the hand and Miz blocks it . Logan with an arm drag and Logan with a sunset flip. Miz with a figure four leg lock. Logan gets to the ropes to force a break. Logan goes to the floor and Miz follows. Logan runs Miz into the apron and back into the ring. Longa is given the brass knuckles by his lackey but Miz hits Logan from behind and picks up the brass knuckles. The referee warns Miz to not use them. Miz throws them away and then he sends Logan into the ring. Miz avoids being suckered by Logan on a springboard move. Logan blocks a kick and pulls him groin first into the ropes. Logan with a punch and Skull Crushing Finale for the three count.

Backstage:
Nick Aldis is with Jade and Bron and he has contracts. Tiffany Stratton shows up and she asks Bianca and Liv to explain how the Chamber match wins. Jade says they are not doing this during her time. Nick tells them this isn’t the time or place. Tiffany says she will see them at the Chamber.
– Naomi makes her way to the ring as we go to commercial.
– Paul Heyman is talking to Grayson Waller outside THE Bloodline door as more food is delivered.
Women’s Elimination Chamber qualifier: Naomi vs. Alba Fyre
They lock up and Alba sends Naomi to the mat. Alba with a knee to the back and she sends Naomi into the turnbuckles. Alba chokes Naomi in the corner. Alba chokes Naomi in the ropes and Isla chokes Naomi when Alba distracts the referee. Naomi with a kick to the head. Naomi slides on her knees and she hits a mule kick. Naomi with a slap and a split leg drop for a near fall. Alba pulls Naomi through the ropes but Naomi sends Alba into the ringside bartrier. Isla distracts Naomi and Alba hits Naomi but Naomi avoids being sent into the ring post. Naomi sends Alba into the ring steps.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Alba with a reverse chin lock but Naomi with a snap mare and back elbow. Naomi with a clothesline and a satellite head scissors take down. Naomi with a drop kick and a Tiger Feint bulldog for a near fall. Naomi with forearms and Alba tries to change the momentum but Naomi with a bulldog into the turnbuckles. Naomi goes up top and she hits a cross body for a near fall. Alba backs Naomi into the corner and she gives Naomi a snap mare. Alba with a wheelbarrow into Snake Eyes and a sit out gourdbuster for a near fall. Naomi with an O’Connor Roll but Isla punches Naomi when Alba kicks out and sends her into the ropes. Alba gets a near fall. Naomi escapes a Gory Special and connects with a knee. Naomi drop kicks Isla off the apron. Naomi with a head scissors driver followed a submission to force Alba to tap out.

Backstage:
Bayley walks in the back and Dakota stops her and says she needs Bayley’s help. Dakota says they are coming after her. Bayley says she doesn’t know who she can trust. Dakota says she thought everything would be better. Bayley says she can’t do this right now.
– Nick Aldis is on the stage and he says he has been negotiating with many free agents to come to Smackdown. He introduces the newest member of the Smackdown roster, Bron Breakker. Bron signs his contract and he gets the obligatory phots.
– Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa walk in the back as we go to commercial.
– We are back and Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate face Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh next week. We will also see The Street Profits versus The Authors of Pain. Bron Breakker makes his Smackdown debut as a member of the roster next week. LA Knigth faces Drew McIntyre.
In the Arena:
The music plays and Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring with Paul Heyman, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa.
Roman finally takes the mic and he tells Salt Lake City to acknowledge him.
Roman says he wants to be honest with you. The people of Utah are idiots. He did not say individually, but when you are all together, you are pretty dumb. Tonight is a big night and he doesn’t want the people to ruin it. When his cousin comes out, y’all might go dumb and catchphrase this and say he is so funny. Everything they say has meaning and purpose. Tonight is history. It is the greatest night ever in WWE history.
Roman calls Cody the guy who ruined everything, but tonight they fix it. Tonight is about history. Tonight… is the first night they can say The Rock is a member of the Bloodline.
It is time to SMELL as the Rock makes his way to the ring.

We are back and Rock is in the ring with his family and Paul Heyman.
Rock says before he drops some gospel on you, he says he has some good news to share. Something you can be happy about and something you can own. You have broken an indoor attendance record tonight. Not only for the city of Salt Lake, but the entire state of Utah. You broke the record for the largest gathering of trailer trash he has ever seen. He says if you didn’t like that, you will love this. He throws out a FINALLY . . . your life has meaning and you and your 50 wives will have a story to tell to your 600 inbred grandchildren some day. That is to know what it is like to look at greatness. Rock give the traditional FINALLY statement.
He says you brought out a side of the Rock you haven’t seen in years. He threatens to slap the herpes off the lips of a fan at ringside. You are seeing this side of the Rock tonight because him and Roman is the greatest main event in Wrestlemania history, but you let it go. You flushed it down the toilet. The same toilet you sat your fat asses on and tweeted how much you loved Cody. He asks what is Cody’s story. Roman beat Cody last year at Wrestlemania. Now all of a sudden, Cody wants a rematch? That is his story? That logic is stupid. Apply that logic to any sport. The 49ers lost to the Chiefs and what did they do? Did they ask about their story? They took their loss like men and moved on.
Everyone should know about this. Michael Jordan came in here and crushed the dreams of the Jazz. He ended their dream story. What did Utah do? They took the beating like men and fought their asses off to get to the top again.
The real world doesn’t work like that. You don’t get another story because you want it. You don’t understand that because you are spoiled, entitled, little crybaby bitches. Cody make one thing clear. He will do everything in his power that you walk out of Wrestlemania a loser. Your story is just ending. Their story is just beginning.
