Update on Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Following 1/9 NXT – The first semifinal match in the 2024 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament has been determined.
On the January 9 episode of WWE NXT, Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin defeated Gallus’ Mark Coffey & Wolfgang to become the first team to advance to the semifinals. Additionally, Axiom & Nathan Frazer defeated Tank Ledger & Hank Williams to become the second team to advance to the tournament semifinal.
These two teams will face off at a later date.
Over on the other side of the bracket, Edris Enofe & Malik Blade are slated to do battle against Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams. Also, the Latino World Order’s Joaquin Wild and Cruz Del Toro will take on Riley Osbourne and Duke Hudson representing Chase University.
Those matches will take place on January 16.
The finals of the tournament will take place at NXT Vengeance Day on February 4.
