The Pride Confirmed as Bobby Lashley’s New Faction Name – The name of The Street Profits and Bobby Lashley’s new faction has been given an official name months after aligning. Lashley has been part of two notable factions thus far in his career with WWE.
One is the one he’s in now, and the other is The Hurt Business, which is officially done for now, following the release of Shelton Benjamin, while Lashley, MVP, and Cedric Alexander are still with WWE.
They’ve recently entered into a program with AOP and Killer Kross, as seen on last week’s episode of SmackDown.
The group is now The Pride, which WrestleVotes had recently reported as the planned name. Lashley confirmed the news in the caption of his Twitter bio by writing the following:
“#SmackDown’s All-Mighty, and leader of THE PRIDE ✊🏾 | Former WWE Champion. MMA Fighter | Professional Wrestler | Business Professional | Nutrabolics Athlete.”
Speaking of The Pride, PWInsider reports Lashley and The Street Profits have been switched to babyfaces on WWE’s internal roster.
It’s unclear whether WWE is saving the six-man tag team match with Kross and AOP for the Royal Rumble or if it will take place on an episode of SmackDown.
