WrestleVotes is reporting that Slim Jim has told WWE that they will be pulling their sponsorships from the Royal Rumble PLE. Slim Jim and WWE were doing a viral campaign on social media leading up to the show featuring The New Day attempting to find the missing Slim Jim car.
No reason was given for Slim Jim pulling out but given the timing of this after the news about the sex trafficking lawsuit filed against WWE and Vince McMahon, the natural assumption is that this is the reason why Slim Jim made their decision and one has to wonder if more sponsors are considering doing the same.
As of this writing, it’s unclear if Slim Jim will remain partners of WWE in the future.
