Moose Wins TNA World Title, Attacked by Nic Nemeth – Moose secured a significant victory at TNA Hard to Kill by capturing the TNA World Heavyweight Title in the main event against Alex Shelley. The decisive moment came when Moose thwarted the Shellshock and followed up with a Spear (without employing the Jackhammer).
This marks Moose’s second reign as the TNA World Champion. Alex Shelley, the former titleholder, had a notable 218-day championship run, claiming the title at IMPACT Against All Odds by defeating Steve Maclin and successfully defending it eight times.
In an unexpected turn of events, former WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler, now going by his real name, Nic Nemeth, made a surprise appearance at the conclusion of the TNA Hard To Kill pay-per-view. Nemeth stormed into the ring, launching an attack on the newly crowned champion Moose. After delivering a superkick and a Zig Zag, Nemeth retreated into the crowd, celebrating his impactful return.
Nemeth showed up at New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Wrestle Kingdom 18 last week. Matt Cardona also called him out for a match in GCW, and now it looks like TNA is the latest company to acquire the former WWE World Champion’s services.
