Interestingly, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and his business partner Dany Garcia appeared on ESPN GameDay earlier today, part of their media tour promoting the launch of the new UFL league (a merger between USFL and XFL). The Rock’s appearance in Pasadena, California, happens to be a mere two-hour drive from San Diego, the location of tonight’s Monday Night Raw.
Previously, prior to The Rock’s appearance on SmackDown a few months ago, he also made a stop at ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show. Today’s appearance on GameDay also caught attention as ESPN shared a video featuring The Rock, where WWE’s Nick Khan was spotted in the background.
While WWE hasn’t officially confirmed The Rock’s appearance, Fightful Select reported today that he’s the expected personality for tonight’s show. Although the specifics of his role remain uncertain, the timing aligns with WrestleMania season kicking off, the Royal Rumble approaching, and WWE planning the Elimination Chamber in Perth, Australia next month. If The Rock intends to wrestle at WrestleMania, tonight could mark the beginning of the buildup for his potential match.
