Jey Uso Comments on Roman Reigns Working Limited Schedule – After WrestleMania 38 in 2022, Roman Reigns signed a new long-term, lucrative deal with WWE. This contract stipulated a significant reduction in house show matches, television appearances, and non-major pay-per-view events (PLEs). As a result, Reigns now rarely works matches outside of major pay-per-view events.
Jey Uso, Reigns’ cousin, recently appeared on TNT Sports and discussed various topics, including Reigns’ success. Uso highlighted that Reigns has earned the right to work fewer dates.
“I look at my cousin now, Roman (Reigns), and I’m just happy on how far he’s come. From the day he’s walked into FCW developmental, to which I was there, to present. Inspiring. He’s the blueprint of what hard work does and you can just never knock that and he has great work ethic. All the time that he has off, he deserves all that uce. He earned it.” said Jey Uso.
Roman Reigns is scheduled to defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at the upcoming Royal Rumble in a fatal 4-way match against Randy Orton, LA Knight, and AJ Styles.
